Awesome stay! The kids had an absolute blast. We had no issues during our stay, the owner was lovely and super responsive to any questions we had. The staff at Haruru were also wonderful and welcoming. There are so many activities both on-site and in the surrounding area. We’ll definitely be booking again😊

This place looked just like the photos !! Totally recommend this place !! With the spectacular view to wake up to every morning peaceful and relaxing setting surrounded by bush. House was ammaculate and beds were very comfy. House was beautifully furnished ! My kids thoroughly enjoyed chilling in the pool. Had everything we wanted and more for our 3 night stay. If looking for somewhere to dine out in town definitely recommend Bad Habits !!! The food was amazing music vibe and atmosphere was a 10/10 from us !!! Thanks again John for having me and my family stay would love to come back again if in the area in the future

This home is awesome, so close to everything and has everything you need. Unfortunately, the pool heating wasn't playing ball but we were able to take advantage of the spa.

We can’t wait to come back here. We were four couples, two young children. The house and facilities gave everyone plenty of space to relax and enjoy time together. It’s a great space with plenty to do.

A very clean modern comfortable base within walking distance of everything in Russell. Great for a family or a number of couples.

Very grateful that Nikki and Chris were able to accommodate us given the time that we inquired for their place as the area we were actually working in was mostly booked for a group like ours (4). The communication really topped the experience for myself as they were very responsive and informative as well on the amenities offered. Very beautiful place as seen in the pictures, wished we were able to enjoy it but we now know this will be at the top of our list should we be in the area again. Thank you both Nikki & Chris!

Stunning location with a spectacular view. House was comfortable and coped very well with our group of 7, however the upstairs bedrooms need to be shared by a family as access to the bathroom was through the other bedroom. Road up to house very tricky and probably better attempted with a 4 wheel drive. We had a great week and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

Amy's place was even nicer than the pictures! Our family of 5 loved staying in this peaceful beach community surrounded by beautiful views everywhere we turned. Cherrie was great at welcoming us and even connected us with a local kiwi expert that took us out to see kiwis in the wild, a one of a kind experience we will never forget! Our kids loved playing out on the beach and our youngest loved the toys in the kids room downstairs. Would definitely come back and recommend to anyone!

We could not recommend Katharine’s place enough! It is one of the best airbnbs we have stayed at. We were absolutely stunned by the breathtaking views of Matauri Bay - that you can see from nearly every angle of the home. The home is beautifully furnished inside and out and has everything you need and more. The peace, quiet and privacy of the home make it the perfect spot to relax and unwind. We really enjoyed the ease of access to the beach and the well thought out features of the home such as the outdoor shower. Katharine was very responsive and helpful throughout our stay.

Incredible spot overlooking the ocean and Cavalli Islands. House is really well laid out for a mixed age group with one bedroom and lounge area seperate from main living. Plenty of parking and room for the boat, fishing was excellent! Great stay for a week.

It's an awesome place with a spectacular view. The house is filled with amenities and all the items one will need for the stay. For us it felt like a home away from a home. A place well built and maintained. Throughly enjoyed it.

We had the best stay at Linda’s property. The quiet little town of Russel was incredible, and everything was within walking distance from the house. The house is beautiful and had everything we needed for a fantastic week. Linda is an incredible host, and was able to help us whenever we had questions. We could not recommend this place more!

Amazing location with stunning ocean views from every room. The set-up was more spacious than the pictures let on, we were delightfully surprised. Extremely responsive host who went the extra mile to make our honeymoon a wonderful experience. Would stay again!

Simply a spectacular setting and a very cosy, tidy, clean and well equipped bach. Very responsive and friendly owners too, so nothing to complain at all.

We loved our stay at Serena’s house, it had everything we needed and had a great yard for our 4 yr old to explore.

Claudine’s home is in an excellent location for access to the northern area of Aotearoa, facilities are top notch and better than described. Awesome host, very proactive and helpful. Home easily accommodated 3 generations of our family with space for everyone inside and out. Definitely recommended, thanks Claudine!

The boy's house was absolutely amazing. Beautifully decorate, comfortable and the veiw was stunning. The boy's were amazing and friendly and were very apologetic for the bad weather over our stay but this just meant we spent a couple of days in thier amazing home. If planning to stay in Russell. I highly recommend this property.

Amazing, total exquisiteness, thank you Wendy for sharing this little piece of heaven with the us. We felt very privileged to have had the opportunity to experience such beauty the peacefulness of the greenery the mountains, and the view from the outside deck ,beautifully set up so well thought out , from the furniture to the spa, that we had the opportunity to see the sunset from,so super special , the photos wow! exceptional, memories for a lifetime. We loved the accomodation it was very welcoming, a well equipped kitchen that we used every night, as it inspired me to cook recipes I had not for years. Wendy thank you for being the perfect host, responsive at all times and very helpful, we really did appreciate your hospitality. We definitely recommend this very calm and relaxing atmosphere and will definitely be back in the future. Once again Wendy thank you we appreciate you! 🙂

We couldn’t have asked for better hosts!! Be sure to ask if Russ is available for a sailing trip. Next time we’ll book an overnight on the boat. It is well worth it!! We took another sailing excursion while in town and Russ was far superior. The food, hospitality, and experience was more than we could have asked for. We also loved the house. It’s very spacious with everything you need. We didn’t mind that it was a 5-10 min drive to get into the city. The spa at the end of the day was perfect as well. We’ll come back and recommend that you stay here!!!

Robert was very helpful. We had a large boat with us and made arrangements for us so we could keep it secure. Robert also allowed us to check in early.
