Stunning home and property - we spent the majority of our time outside. We particularly loved fishing the pond. Hosts are proactively communicative and also respond quickly to any requests or needs. If we’re ever back in the area we look forward to staying again.

What an amazing and tranquil place to stay, sit on porch, listen to the water and watch deer stroll through the yard. Very convenient to many of the surrounding areas and restaurants but we were content to just enjoy the peacefulness, read and relax. We ate at Smokehouse of Steve's and did some grocery shopping there and at the Saxapahaw General Store. This place to stay has the magic!

I rented this place for my first solo trip. I couldn’t have picked a better spot! From the secluded private yard, to the hot tub, to the beautiful area. I had such a wonderful birthday and a wonderful first trip on my own! I will absolutely be coming back!

We totally recommend staying here, it was so lovely! The view was beautiful and in such a cute spot. Lisa was so friendly and sweet and we really appreciate how understanding and accommodating she was with us. We definitely will return!

If you are looking for a quiet and peaceful stay in a modern log cabin, then this is the place for you. The cabin itself is beautiful and it is evident that extra effort is put into creating a welcoming space for her guests. Great kitchen with everything you need to cook, comfortable bed, chairs of the porch, spotless cleaning and of course the hot tub. We felt right at home immediately. Loved the filtered water in the fridge and all of your questions will be answered in the binder provided. I appreciated that we are close to town, but far enough away down the gravel road to feel out in the middle of nowhere. The only thing we didn’t get to do is see the stars at night from the hot tub because it was cloudy both nights. I guess that means we will have to return!

This little studio in the woods is the perfect spot for a weekend getaway in nature. Lina’s place has incredible surroundings, a beautiful garden, and peaceful sounds all around. There’s a lot of great hiking a short drive away and the screened-in porch is a delight! I certainly wouldn’t hesitate to book this spot again for another calm weekend.

This place is a gem! Quiet peaceful surroundings! Walkable to cider tasting room. Close to Hillsborough. Screened in porch was a joy at night! Wish we could have stayed longer!

Greg was a great host! We had very minor issues, but he was amazing at communicating and solving them! His property is absolutely GORGEOUS and well worth the time spent there. Couldn’t have asked for a better host! If we’re in the area again, we would be happy to spend our time here!

This was our second stay at the cabin and we loved it as much this year as last year. It is such a private retreat - one we appreciate. The place is so relaxing, inside and outside. We love the screened porch the best!!!! Kathy is great and so easy to work with. We look forward to our NEXT trip to Mayo Lake!

This was a really really cute stay. My family and I enjoyed our stay and was surprised how efficient the whole space was regardless off the small home. Very clean, had multiple kitchen utensils, washroom is clean, the sleeping area was quite fun. Lot of options there too. Overall 10/10!! Liz and her co-host were very helpful and responsive.

I was visiting for a wedding and stumbled upon this gem of a property. I travel constantly and stay in airbnbs all around the world and this is one of my favorites. The peace and tranquility is unmatched as you drive down the long driveway you feel like you are being removed from the noise and chaos of the world. The host was so gracious to let me use his John boat and as an avid fisherman this made the trip for me. I was fortunate to net a few trophy bass and the action was incredible. I can't wait to return again and hopefully for a longer stay. The property is only a few minutes from amenities of town but yet you feel hours away from civilization. This truly was a piece of heaven for me, I can't recommend highly enough.

This cabin was the perfect weekend getaway. The host's directions made finding it easy, and we were immediately charmed by everything, inside and out. The cabin was neat, clean, and well-stocked with anything we might need. The location was convenient, a quick, easy drive away from Pittsboro, Jordan Lake, and Chapel Hill, but felt private and secluded, with wooded walking trails mere feet from the front door. The hosts responded quickly to any questions we had, and made us feel very welcome. The firepit was a special highlight for us, and made for very pleasant, peaceful evenings outside with the fireflies. I highly recommend this spot. We hope to visit again in the future!

Cabin was great! Beautiful on the inside and located in a very peaceful quiet area. Barrel sauna and fireplace were very nice and enjoyable additions. Host was extremely responsive and helpful.

Wiene is a very attentive and thoughtful host. The cabin is just as pictured in the listing and the setting is very peaceful, nestled in the woods in a private compound. The peacocks are beautiful and very entertaining. The location is very convenient to get around Chapel Hill and not far from Raleigh and Durham. Great little find.

Stone's Paradise was the perfect weekend getaway! Wendall was a great host and quick to respond. The house was stocked with some essentials, snacks and even fishing worms. My husband started his Saturday morning with complimentary coffee and fishing as there's poles available on site (you'll need your own tackle box). There was also some firewood available at no charge. There are other homes nearby but it was still peaceful and well worth what we paid. We look forward to staying again :)

10/10 would absolutely recommend! Super cozy for a girl's weekend. The grounds are gorgeous, peaceful and private. We loved hanging down by the pond and walking through the woods. Inside is comfy and cozy. I had trouble opening the door when I first got there and Daniel was super responsive, calling within seconds to help me. Of course I was able to get it open right as he answered. The place is perfect and my 5 star review is accurate, we would absolutely stay again - but just a heads up the owners are offering a free return night in exchange for a 5 star review, which may bias some reviews.

Great location! Loved the property and peacefulness of the River and tranquility of every view and fire pit.

This was truly a stunning cabin. The pictures did not do it justice. There are some chickens on the property which was the highlight of the trip for my two sons. My oldest was able to catch fish in the lake. Ben gave very detailed instructions on how to find the cabin and even left us some fresh eggs in the fridge. He responded quickly to my questions. The house was stocked with all needed amenities and the beds were extremely comfortable. The cabin is in a beautiful secluded spot but still very close to the places we wanted to see in Raleigh and Durham. We had a great stay here and would absolutely book again.

enjoyed staying in Roy's home and meeting Roy was wonderful. He takes great pride in his homes and genuinely cares about the level of service he provides his guests.

Beautiful surroundings, a swimming pool, hammocks, plenty of places to gather, soft beds, good coffee, a welcoming, gracious host, close to UNC campus, many things to do and great restaurants ! A hidden gem! Would definitely return!💜❤️♥️
