The windows overlooking the lake

We had a fantastic time staying at this apartment just outside of the walls of Orbetello historic center (and a less than 10 minute walk into town). The apartment was very spacious with two big bedrooms and a tastefully decorated common area (living room and dining area) with a gorgeous view of the lagoon. The apartment also had two full bathrooms with shower, ideal for two couples or a large family to share for a longer stay. We really appreciated that they bought a new cot for our 4 month old to sleep in during the trip. We also appreciated that there were plenty of towels and bed linens for us to use. The location was great too, a quieter neighborhood next to a big hotel surrounded by shops, a short walk to the center and near a very nice seafood restaurant called I Pescatori. The only negative was that it’s a 3rd floor walk-up with no elevator so with a baby it’s not that easy. But I’d definitely book again!

The stay was enjoyable from start to finish. The owner was very kind, always willing to give information and/or advice. The house was even more beautiful than the description and photos. The garage was really important given the high season. The cleanliness was impeccable, the washing machine and dishwasher were very useful, as were the oven to quickly heat croissants or focaccia. There was a wide range of dishes/pots/cutlery. The air conditioning in all rooms (apart from the amenities) was valuable in the scorching heat of thisyear. The decor, very well cared for, immediately gave the impression of being at home and not passing through. The spectacular view from the windows of the living room and the room, along with the two terraces with a table, chairs, and sun loungers was a significant added value. We will definitely be back. Thanks for the great experience.

We booked Sonia's place for one night while driving from up the Coast. We now wish we had time to stay longer! It's a stunning location with incredible views from the AirBnB. The coast is only a short walk away with plenty of restaurants to choose from. Sonia sent us photos and videos before arriving which were helpful and clearly showed where to park, where to find the lockbox and keys, and how to find the apartment making the check in process super easy. A highly recommended stay.
