Located 20 minutes from Mackinaw City and adjacent to trail number 7 with amazing scenery and many opportunities to eat and drink on and off the trail. Cook in the well-appointed kitchen. Relax and entertain in the large living room with 50" TV and 2 large sofas. Rest well in one of the 2 private bedrooms or open loft with two twin beds. The single bathroom has a shower and garden tub on the main level. Close to Mackinaw City/ Mullet Lake.

This unique experience is in the Grade 4-8 classroom of a 103 y/o, 2-room schoolhouse by the Mullett-Burt Inland Lake Waterway! A public beach on Mullett AND the North Central State Trail are 1/2 a block away so bring your bike, X-country skis, snowmobile! In the middle of the tip of the mitten it's just minutes from Indian River, Cheboygan and Mackinaw City. Kayak the Sturgeon, hop on a ferry to Mackinac Island or put in your boat to explore the lakes! King-size bed and in-unit laundry.

Clean cabin with UP NORTH log furniture nestled above the picturesque sunset side of beautiful BLACK LAKE! Black Lake is a 10,000 acre all sports lake. The cabin sits on a hill (not on the lake) about 35 ft from another home on 40 acres and has 105 ft of private lake frontage shared with my another unit. Wildlife along with flower gardens throughout the property. Black Mountain Recreational Area is 10 minutes away. Mackinaw, Petoskey, Ocqueoc Falls 45 minutes away. Restaurants 10 minutes away.

State parks, beaches, bikes, hikes, and cross country skiing in all directions. Bring a book, kick back and stay a while.

Enjoy summer days or wintry splendor. We are located in a rustic area of northwest Michigan, 15 miles north of Harbor Springs, within 2 miles of the Tunnel of Trees. We are conveniently located for nature preserves, hiking trails, beautiful beaches, ski slopes, and Mackinaw Island. Our home is attached to the guest suite but guests access their suite via a secured private entrance. Our equipped kitchen has a pantry, fresh farm eggs, butter, a home-baked item, ground coffee, and teas.

The Elkhorn Log Cabin, located in the scenic town of Wolverine, Michigan, has undergone a meticulous restoration to create an ambiance of warmth and charm. The restoration process involved the careful use of locally sourced, reclaimed woods and materials, resulting in a rustic yet refined atmosphere. The strategically placed windows provide stunning views of the surrounding forest and encourage natural airflow. In my opinion there is not many places that surpass this idyllic location.

Enjoy the coziness of a bygone era while staying in this 1940s quaint, storybook log cabin. The Hawks Nest has been lovingly restored to its original glory while having all the modern-day amenities woven through its clean 380 sq. ft. space. Retreat to the spacious covered porch to relax and view the acre-and-half property leading down to 100ft of 6Mile Lake frontage. Star gaze while relaxing in the comfortable, Amish-built gilding chairs around the spacious, paver fire pit area .

The Rhubarbary Ruins - with an outdoor sauna

We have just added an outdoor sauna to this fabulous cabin in the woods behind our house. Although there is only 1 proper bedroom there is a sleeping loft with a queen size bed and window overlooking the hardwood forest. We also have a pull-out couch. Guests have complete privacy and everything provided for a comfortable stay This is a cabin with peaceful relaxation in mind....no loud parties or anything of that nature. Come and enjoy northern Michigan's beauty in all seasons.
