Cabin holiday rentals in Orford

The description is correct; it is a cabin in the woods with no electricity. We arrived to snow and used a provided sled to haul in our stuff. The cabin itself is small and very cozy. Our host could not get the outside Hot tub to work so she brought a sauna in for us to use instead, really great service. If you enjoy rustic settings and a little adventure, this is a great spot. We will be back.

The cottage is beautiful, large, clean, well equipped. It is in an isolated and quiet place but also not very far from the attractions of the area, when it is the perfect combination. The covered spa with a view to the forest is great.

We had a great stay despite some trouble with the lock at first. The host is responsive! Once that was resolved we had a great time! There are a lot of amenities provided and the spot is convenient for visiting Stanstead, Newport VT, etc. Thanks!

Close to the United States so fresh if they have made For the Milky Way chalet, I was expecting this theme inside too. But too much decoration that has no relation, rooster, wolf, butterfly, etc. On the other hand in the spas, the view, the sky that really represented the name of the cottage. Would I go back? Yes, without hesitation. For the price it's worth it. The beach not far away is a plus;-). I loved my stay;-)

Just magical. A perfect getaway for my little family. Sonia and her partner were very hospitable. The home was clean, comfortable, and well equipped and the hot tub and sauna were such a treat.

Great place for our family of four and our friend’s family of four. The kids love the bunk beds! Having the two lounge spaces was a bonus - kids could go play or watch a movie and us parents could have our space. Very close to ski hill and beach (we went ice fishing during our stay).

We had a wonderful stay! The cottage was beautiful, surrounded by a peaceful forest, and perfectly equipped for families with kids and a baby. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook, the beds were very comfortable, and everything was exactly as described. The hosts were highly responsive and helpful throughout. We truly appreciated our stay and would happily return!

Just what we were looking for on our trip north for a family reunion. Property was exceptionally clean and stocked with what we needed! Easy to make ourselves at home as all of the codes and directions were streamlined and easy to follow ( much appreciated after a long drive!) We loved the freshly picked lilac and taste of maple that were out for us when we arrived. The binder mentioned an Amish bakery/ donuts just down the road and it was one stop we are glad we checked out! Mark and Melissa were so prompt in responding back to anything we asked. Kids have already asked to return at some point!

This place is truly a dream getaway! Located just a quick five-minute drive from Jay Peak, it offers the perfect blend of convenience and cozy charm. The home has a wonderfully warm and inviting atmosphere that makes you feel instantly at ease. If you're bringing your dog along, you'll love the scenic trails right out back—perfect for a peaceful walk or an adventurous hike. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you could possibly need to whip up meals, which made our stay even more comfortable. And the hot tub? Absolutely amazing—such a relaxing bonus after a day on the slopes or exploring the area. A special shoutout to our host, Haley, who went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. Her hospitality made the experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a relaxing, well-equipped stay near Jay Peak!

Our week long stay at Bill & Kerry’s place was perfect for us. Bill was always in communication with us and very accommodating. The house and land is a great escape from everyday life! We took full advantage of the wood stove! We would recommend this place for others to stay and we would love to stay here again!

This is our third stay at The Summit so far this season and we have loved it each and every time. The house is clean and comfortable and as always Susan and Tom were fantastic hosts.

Warm welcome and employees welcome. They guide us to our zoobox and explain the activities on the site. Safe and very clean places, trails, lakes and zoobox. Several activities on site hiking trails will be delighted. Chaloupe kayak and paddleboard. Several relaxing air on the site and even in the zoobox. Zooboxes are well equipped and even little ones can have fun indoors, in case of very convenient rain. Need to recharge with nature empty and find its balance...you will be filled like me. A beautiful stay and I leave my head full of memories. 🧘‍♀️🙏😊🏞

The Simple Cabin in the woods is beautiful. It was cosy, peaceful and private; perfect for our little getaway. Anne's description and photos clearly described the property and there were no surprises. We had dinner by the chimneria, relaxed in the sun on the Adirondack chairs on the deck, made ourselves a nice meal with the great Webber grill, went for a hike along the stream that runs on thier property, and practiced Taiji in the yard. In the mornings we ate breakfast at the small table while gazing out the big picture window and at night relaxed in the loft watching the projector TV. The guidebook is full of helpful information. Sprinked throughout the home is evidence of Anne's thoughtfulness. We appreciated the cleanliness, the well stocked kitchen, the small decor and books, the soft linens and towels, the artwork and lighting. We notice these small details and it makes us feel like our host cares about our experience. Anne is very kind and responsive. We highly recommend!

The cleanest Airbnb I’ve been to! Wonderful host and beautiful Mountain Views with fresh air. Comfortable beds. Kitchen has everything a cook wants and needs. Would love to book again!

I was looking for a place to rest, a weekend full of peace, and I found the correct spot.

Wonderful Stay. Perfect for skiing at Jay. Wonder spot to relax by the fire and wake up to the view. Judith was helpful and responsive. Hope to come back next year!

Joanna’s place was great, we would def stay here again. Close to the mountain but not too close and even though it’s right on the main road the yard is peaceful. The room with the bunk beds was perfect for the kids. Thanks for letting us stay at your tiny cabin.

Great weekend getaway in the NEK! The place was as described, super quiet and clean.

If you’re looking for a quiet, peaceful, secluded little get away this is the place to go. I truly miss it already. Everything was perfect and so much to do. The game room is stocked with more games than I even knew existed, and in the main house so many puzzles, books and more games. The kitchen has everything you need to make a home cooked meal. We stopped at Shaws and Walmart in Newport on our way to the cabin, and I suggest anyone else who visits this amazing cabin does the same because I can promise you once you arrive on holland pond you will not want to leave. The whole cabin is so cozy and welcoming with some of the nicest blankets to cuddle up in. Anthony & Toni’s cabin is truly a gem and the pictures don’t do it justice. You’ll have to go see for yourselves.

I loved staying here. GPS had us down the road a bit so watch for it when driving. Right by Canadian border, cell service sketchy but get on the WiFi asap, that worked great. I’m extremely picky and I have no complaints. I would definitely stay here again. Also, listing says no heat but there was heat and plenty of it. It really is a cute place.

We stayed 4 nights in this charming chalet. Everything was perfect for resting and relaxing. Relatively isolated chalet surrounded by trees but still a few minutes from amenities (grocery store, bakery, etc.). Very well equipped (kitchen with everything you could need, toiletries, foosball - pure happiness for a long rainy weekend, super comfortable beds), everything was in place and welcoming to feel at home. The decor is sober and refined with a lot of taste, which makes the chalet very relaxing. Julia is very quick to respond to any situation and was able to accommodate us with kindness when we asked her. Thank you for this little vacation that we loved!
