Crane Lodge-Secluded 1 bedroom stay near the coast

Crane Lodge is in a private garden set back from the main house in a secluded wooded area 5 minutes from Orford. This is a perfect peaceful retreat for those looking for a getaway amongst nature on the Suffolk Heritage Coast - a perfect base to explore nearby Snape, Aldeburgh and Southwold. Recently renovated with mezzanine living, guests have the entire Lodge to themselves with a private entrance, terraced area for outside dining/bbq and off road parking. We also welcome up to two dogs.

“The Elms Shepherds Hut”

Our beautiful little shepherds hut is ready for letting. Get away from it all and stay under the stars deep in the Suffolk countryside. Our Shepherds hut is situated in the corner of our field surrounded by hedging and stunning views. If you’re a keen cyclist there’s many different routes in the area as well as many footpaths for avid ramblers. If star gazing is your thing then we can promise you we are not affected by light pollution and if you’re lucky you’ll hear our resident owls too.

Situated in a quiet cul d sac, this delightful dog friendly bungalow is an ideal rural retreat - a 10 minute walk to the village shop, pubs and restaurants. Nearby footpaths take you to the woods or down to the harbour In the summer sit out in the lovely dog secure private garden. Look forward to a good nights sleep in the retro kingsize double bed. Fitted with a contemporary bathroom and kitchen and a log burner in the comfy living room with patio doors to the sunny west facing garden.

Set on a quiet country lane in a large garden in the countryside, 7 miles from the picturesque seaside town of Southwold and 1 mile from the charming market town of Halesworth. The Cabin is a timber building constructed from reclaimed and sustainable materials and heated by a cosy log burner. Situated in the shadow of Orford castle, The Boatshed is a new, spacious, self contained annex in the garden of our home with views across to the historic village of Orford and it’s river. There is off-road parking and WiFi. Little disturbs the peace in this rural area where we have spent the last 35 years. Just out of our gate and the whole of the countryside is yours to enjoy.
