This is a beautiful place to stay, right on the lake with an amazing view, and a friendly beaver right next door! Our highlights were the hot tub, the fire pit and kayaking on the lake. This spot would be amazing in the Summer. The house is clean and well set up, the 2 downstairs bedrooms are small but just fine for sleeping. There is plenty of room in the rest of the house.

We loved Jess' place. Very cozy and felt like home. The location and house are perfect for a city escape. The area is relaxing and quiet, and all the locals seem nice. One kind neighbour even shared his logs with us to help with the fire.

Amazing host, great location not to far from the city . Everything you need, literally bring your cloths and toothbrush and you’re good to go. Would highly recommend. Great for family’s or small groups of friends.

We stay for 2 nights it was a perfect getaway for us. Lots to do inside and outside our little ones really enjoyed. The host was super nice and responsive. The house was very clean and the detail of the house was very homey. We really enjoyed our stay. Most recommended to book this it was very worth it.

We had an excellent stay at Steve’s cottage. Comfortable, super clean and had so many fun things to do! We really appreciated the gift basket and wine! It was enjoyed. Ty!

The kitchen was very well-stocked with everything we needed for cooking, which made preparing our own meals simple and convenient. Penny is a truly exceptional host—responsive, welcoming, and attentive to every detail. She went above and beyond to ensure we had a great experience! This was one of the best hosting experiences we’ve had, and we would gladly return in the future. Highly recommend to anyone considering a stay!

Great location , clean cottage , backyard is really nice, with a perfect sunset view. We had a relaxing weekend and would definitely visit again. Special mention to Richard, he is responsive and provided all the required information.

Right from the beginning, Katie and Derek were very responsive and friendly. They were very informative by providing all of the details of the many amenities they offer, along with special touches. The cottage is amazing and was the perfect place for a girls weekend getaway. There is so much room inside the cottage and it was very clean and nicely decorated with a rustic vibe. We all had our own sleeping areas and they went out of their way to ensure we were comfortable. The property is private and beautifully maintained with various areas to choose from and we spent time everywhere! We all thoroughly enjoyed this cottage and recommend it to everyone! We are already discussing dates for next year!

This listing is exactly as pictured. It is truly beautiful to look out over the lake at sunset (anytime, really, haha) and was the perfect location for some time away from the city. I was able to get to the listing from Toronto without a car as well, so good to know for accessibility from the city for anyone without access to a car. Overall, my experience at this listing was great. Saeid communicated with me very well--quick, informative, and efficient exchanges. He was helpful as much as possible and readily admitted when unsure of things. The kitchen covered all basic needs for cooking and serving food; the grill was nice to use as well. The jetted tub was unavailable during my stay, but that is a very minor detail in the context of a great stay at Saeid's place. I would definitely return and highly recommend.

Great little spot to get away for the weekend at an economical price. Was duck season so lots of gun action in the morning which was a bit annoying but nobody’s fault. Close to the beach and nice walking trail nearby. We had a great visit.

My friends and I had a truly fabulous cottage experience here! The washrooms were clean and tidy, which made our stay extra comfortable. We also appreciated the entertainment options available. Even though the weather was a bit cool and the dock slightly tricky to manage, we had an amazing time using the kayaks for the first time! The host provided life jackets, which made our water adventures both safe and memorable. Another highlight was the sauna — such a relaxing and refreshing treat after a day of outdoor activities. It was our first time trying a sauna, and it was easy to use. We loved it! One more thing worth mentioning — one of my friends accidentally left her phone behind. The host and cleaning team acted quickly and efficiently, and the phone was returned the next day! Overall, we would absolutely choose this cottage again. The great location, cleanliness, well-prepared facilities, and the kind and thoughtful host made this a wonderful getaway. Highly recommended!

We had a great stay at the Airbnb, it was a perfect location on the water and we were able to do some kayaking too. The house was stocked with everything we’d need and Jakub was super helpful and informative. Some of the beds were firmer than others but there were lots of great options for our large group and lots of seating as well. Would recommend and stay again!

We had a wonderful winter getaway at Woodward by the Beach! The home was beautiful and far exceeded our expectations. It was clean, nicely decorated, and well stocked with the essentials. We especially loved the fire! The host, Kevin, was extremely responsive and even took the time to provide us with recommendations for snow tubing, tobogganing, restaurants, and cafes. The home is in a great location and there are no shortage of activities, restaurants, and shops within short driving distance. We can’t wait to come back in the summer! Thank you Kevin!

My family and I had an awesome stay and we all agreed that we’d come back again. The lake view is breathtaking - certainly the highlight! We spent all mornings drinking coffee by the lake and a lot of afternoons relaxing on the patio. The beds were very comfortable and the A/C unit kept the cottage cool enough with standing fans for each room if needed. The entire cottage was spotless. The kitchen was well equipped. It was fun watching the small planes come in and out of the nearby airport. We would absolutely recommend this place to a friend and had a great stay!

We spent a couple of days up here, and it was as described. It took me back to my childhood! The classic “by the lake” cottage. And it is that. Complete with a breezeway with life jackets, a great dock, and of course the fantastic lake. We enjoyed a campfire, and the place had everything we needed, for meals and memories. It is a cottage though. You should expect that. It isn’t fancy, and Geoff doesn’t describe it that way. It is how he describes. Geoff is also very responsive, and when we had a question, came back right away. It was a nostalgic little getaway for us! We loved it.

Bettys cottage was an excellent getaway from Toronto, with lots of water activities, with the cottage being right on the water. The cottage itself was exceptionally clean and well maintained, and Betty was an excellent, accommodating and responsive host, with helpful local recommendations, and advice and tips. The property's location was excellent, and we especially loved the beautiful lake views from many rooms. The fire pit by the water was a highlight, and the spacious backyard proved perfect for Matcha's first trip with us. We certainly hope to return in the future!

Me and my friends were here for the weekend and we had a fantastic time. The weather was not great outside but we found plenty of things to do indoors and had a splendid weekend. Christina was very responsive, not that we needed much as everything was there. We would definitely come back again and for anybody thinking of booking this Airbnb do not hesitate! DO IT!
