everything was perfect, we arrived really late at night because of a flight change, Konstantinos was there to welcome us despite everything, perfectly neat and quiet accommodation, big + air conditioning I think in case of great heat. we will gladly return there during a future stay in Crete. thank you again to our host for this charming welcome.

We loved staying at Mansio in Rethymno. It was right in old town just steps from restaurants but on a quiet street. We had a rental car and they offered free parking in a local lot a short walk away. Check in was easy. There was a staffed desk so someone available to answer all questions and they were extremely friendly. The breakfast was wonderful and the seating area to eat was beautiful. The back of the building was a park always full of families and a school. We loved watching local families enjoy their town. We even got to see a concert event with area children singing. There is some noise from the park, but it did not bother us. If you are looking for absolute quiet you should look towards the edge of town instead.

We had a wonderful time at Evelyn's house. The house corresponds exactly to the photos and invites you to relax. Both Evelyn and Etouri (Vacation rental management) took care of everything at all times if there were any questions or problems. During our stay, the dishwasher broke and a brand new dishwasher was installed two days later. Thank you! Also the location of the house is perfect for a relaxing holiday. By car, you can quickly reach the nearest big city (Rethymno) and also the beach. We were very pleased with our choice. So I can only recommend Villa Kleanthi!

A fantastic house with wonderful sea views and all the comforts! Tastefully decorated with good quality both indoors and outdoors. Very private location without visibility. Lovely balcony with pool, parasols and outdoor furniture. We were personally received in the house at the appointed time and were given a tour of the house and all its features, as well as a basket of specialties from Crete. Walking distance about 5-10 minutes to Plakias with shops and restaurants. The only thing we wished for was a few more hooks to hang clothes on.

Book this! Amalen Suites (only 5 for the entire property) is in the perfect spot! Close to everything but at night quiet and extremely secure! My favorite part of my stay was the staff that ran Amalen! Thank you so much Maria, Jakob, Tolis, and Josie!!! Everyone was so so so kind and gave amazing recommendations for my stay. The breakfast served every morning was phenomenal as well!!! Oh and! My all time favorite products are used at this location (Olive Era) so I was able to buy some bottles to take home too. And because I was traveling alone they checked in with me everyday and made sure I was safe during my stay which means a lot! I truly had an amazing time at this hotel and highly highly HIGHLY RECOMMEND for couples that are traveling through Crete. The city in which Amalen is located is large and can be tough to find parking all of the time so I also did love that this was close to many restaurants, shops, IG worthy cute alleys and a 2 minute walk to the ocean. We had a wonderful stay and truly appreciated the comfort and hospitality of the villa. Everything was perfect, and we felt very well taken care of.

Where to begin! We were at first greeted by Georgia who is without a doubt nothing but a superhost! No ask too big or small, always around to help with anything and everything. With outstanding hospitality and attention to detail as well. Every recommendation was perfect and helping us out with a taxi for a night in the local city was very helpful indeed. 5 Stars!! The villa was immaculate. Super clean and very beautiful inside and out. Everything inside feels tasteful and perfectly thought out. Then outside all the furniture and outdoor kitchen equipment is excellent as well. To have a sea view and the view of the mountains is incredible. There is absolutely no place you would rather wake up. The only downside we could ever have was not having more time to stay! I cannot fault Georgia or this Villa in anyway shape or form. We loved every moment of our holiday here and can’t wait to come back as soon as possible. The whole booking and organising process was a breeze too!
