Monthly Rentals in Orroland

Just wow! This place completely exceeded our expectations. The whole family was so welcoming, including the working dogs! This stay has truly set the bar for any future places we visit. We arrived during lambing season, and even though it was a busy time on the farm, the hosts always made time for us. Whether we needed anything or just stopped for a chat, they ensured we were happy with everything. We even got to feed the lambs on our first night, which was such a lovely touch. The Steading itself was stunning, with everything you could possibly need. The bed was so comfortable, the shower was great, and the kitchen was well-equipped. The dry robes were perfect for chilly nights outside. We were lucky with the weather and enjoyed nearby walks and rowing on the pond. Ciara was just a message away and always replied instantly, making everything so easy. Overall, this trip was amazing. I’ve never felt so welcomed at a property and didn’t want to leave. We hope to return soon!

The house and grounds are spectacular- with amazing views across the Irish Sea to Cumbria and the Isle of Man. Amazing array of wildlife within the grounds- red squirrels, hares, roe deer, red kites all frequently sighted. The house is so comfortable and very tastefully decorated with very high quality fixtures and fittings. The surrounding area is very beautiful and so quiet and peaceful. One of the very best AirB&Bs we have stayed in, highly recommended.

Great holiday home to pop away to for a few days to explore Dumfries! So much to do nearby and the caravan has everything needed to chill and relax at the end of the day! The wee pub across the road (the teeroom) is a must visit too!
