Unbeatable sunsets! Close to the old coastal community Skalhamn with natural harbor, large boat marina and restaurant. Grocery stores, restaurants, Havets hus etc. are in Lysekil. 12 min by car. Choose from natural beaches, cliffs and kid-friendly baths. 5 minutes by car. Hiking trails and golf course in the nearby area. Bicycles are available to borrow.

The west coast, Bohuslän with warm cliffs, red boathouses, perfect fishing, water sports and exciting excursion destinations – it's no wonder we make a pilgrimage to this beautiful part of Västra Götaland, every year. Läsarstugan has the sea in front of it with piers and boats. Here you can bring your coffee cup and walk down to the jetty and take a morning or evening swim or just enjoy. Right next to the house, you can access the beautiful Kuststigen, a hiking trail in different stages with well-marked trails.

If you want to hike or bike, Sotelden is close by and Ramsvikslandets nature reserve is 9.2 km away. Nordens Ark is 15 minutes by car, as is Kungshamn, Smögen & Bovallstrand. It is also close to Fjällbacka.

Its close to the ocean and in between you find a landscape typical for the region, raw, beautiful and surreal. It is a five minute walk to the sea and in the bay there is an oak tree that you can borrow. On the island, there is a fish shop and restaurant, also a five-minute walk from the house. Nature on the island is diverse with open sea and cliffs to the west, small farms and forests in the middle of the island.
