The cabin can also be a base for exploring the region, with a short distance to the Art Nouveau town of Ålesund, beautiful Geiranger or the bird mountain on Runde. Great cabin in Sunnmørsalpene. The cabin is located just a few hundred meters from the ski resort and short access to several kilometers of cross-country trails with lights for an evening trip. There are also many opportunities for top trips for all skill levels. There is also the possibility to rent a 16-foot leisure boat with 40hp. This is located in Sykkylven city centre (20 min drive from the cabin). Here there are life jackets and fishing equipment if you are interested. Rental must be pre-booked a good while before. Spacious cabin with great views and hiking terrain right outside the door. The cabin is located near the ski resort (ski in/ski out) and nice prepared cross-country trails and floodlit trails are just nearby. The area also has great hiking opportunities on foot. Fjellsetra is a good starting point for many nice mountain trips in summer and winter. It is also a good starting point for a day trip to Geiranger and Ålesund. In the summer you can also fish in Nysætervatnet (must buy a fishing license).
