Local ski slopes/cross country trails(10 min by car) Lots of opportunities for great top hikes and hikes in the surrounding area.

It's a great place for just relaxing, and enjoying the fabulous view, but also an excellent starting point for sightseeing, hiking, swimming or fishing in the fjord/river. Skiing and several other activities are easily available in the area, dependig on season. Excelent for couple and family(s) with kids. Private access to the fjord. 800m walk to restaurants and shops.

Mandenalen is surrounded by fine nature, where you can enjoy tours characterized by a quieter atmosphere and less crowds. You are only 20 minutes from Åndalsnes, the Tinde capital, where you will find a bunch of iconic experiences; Trollveggen, Romsdalseggen, Rampestreken, Rapenensanen, Trollstigen and Romsdalsstigen via ferrata and more.

Peaceful seaside paradise. Sea, sun, swimming, boating in the summer and off the piste in the winter. Crab/lobster fishing in season, dorging and fishing. In boathouse part hot and cold water, fridge, kettle and french press. Wood-fired stove for cool evenings. The atmosphere is inviting and warm. The skin floor has all you need of kitchen equipment as well as a fridge and freezer. Sleeping for 6 people in the house.

Rjånes Vacation and Convention Center is located in a nice nature terrain where we have kept the character of nature especially with regard to play and activity. Here you will find the forest cot, play equipment, plenty of space for ball games and proximity to the lake and beach. In newly renovated cabins and apartments you will find peace and quiet.
