Urke in Hjørundfjorden - cabin at the edge of the sea

Urke is a living small village and has everything you need; great nature, hiking and swimming facilities, shop with mail and pharmacy, hiking and its own pub/café. The nature in the area is amazing. The Sunnmørsalpane encircles the village with majestic Slogen and Saksa which have become really popular after Sherpas from Nepal have made steps up through the ura. In the last few years, Urkeegga has also become a popular hiking destination. The mountains here are equally popular for skiing tourists during the winter as for mountain hikes in the summer.

It's a great place for just relaxing, and enjoying the fabulous view, but also an excellent starting point for sightseeing, hiking, swimming or fishing in the fjord/river. Skiing and several other activities are easily available in the area, dependig on season. Excelent for couple and family(s) with kids. Private access to the fjord. 800m walk to restaurants and shops.

Here you can enjoy quiet days by the fjord or have a good starting point to get around the many sights and activities the area has to offer. The cabin can be used throughout the year, summer and winter. It takes about 10 minutes by car to Stryn city center. To Loen Skylift about 15-20 minutes.
