It is a quiet, small, cozy guest house. The deck is spacious enough for about 6 people to have a barbecue, etc. Please note that it may feel a little cramped for 4 adults. Since it is a mountain forest, there are insects, but we carefully control insects in the guest house. Please understand if they enter during your stay. If you are not good with insects, etc., I think you will have a little resistance, so please book with that in mind. In winter, it gets below freezing around here. Please note that the heating facilities in this guest house are mainly kerosene stoves and kerosene fan heaters. We also have electric appliances, but if you use too much, the safety device will work (smart meter) and the electricity in the house will flash, so please do not use a lot of electric appliances at once. An earth leakage meter is also installed. If the electricity flashes, please reduce the use of electricity.(Also, please contact us about rural living experiences, etc. We do our best to disinfect and clean after guests leave to prevent the spread of the new coronavirus. Located in the Iizuna Kogen area of Myoko Togakushi National Park at an altitude of 1,100 meters, Log House "Wa" is surrounded by nature, where you can enjoy the four seasons and relax. It is also a refreshing and cool place in summer. You can enjoy Togakushi Shrine, Zenkoji Temple, soba making experience, forest adventures, etc. with your family. For business people, it is also a place where you can concentrate efficiently from a quiet space in nature. From spring to autumn, you can enjoy cycling and climbing Mt. Iizuna on a rental electric bicycle. During the autumn foliage season, we also recommend the Togakushi area and Myoko Highlands. In winter, Togakushi Ski Resort and Iizuna Resort are also available 20 minutes away by car.

This house overlooks Lake Nojiri and has a superb view. There are several ski resorts (Myoko, Kurohime, Madarao) about 15-20 minutes away by car, making it a perfect base for winter sports. Enjoy the wood stove sauna and the water bath with a view. There are no private houses around, so you can listen to music and watch movies loudly. Because it is a house located deep in the mountains, we take the best measures, but in the warm season, insects come out. It snows a lot in winter. In autumn, fallen leaves dance. You will also need to adjust the wood stove fire yourself. It's not an easy house to live in, but we promise you a great view and experience. Enjoy cooking with a counter kitchen with a view, condiments and cooking utensils. (There is no equipment for BBQ)
