The accommodation is in a quiet residential neighborhood that is well located, 5 minutes on foot from Yamagoe Station on the Tozai Subway Line and 8 minutes on foot from JR Yamagoe Station, with good security. JR Yamashiro Station is one stop (5 minutes) from JR Kyoto Station. This area is home to many people, so there are many supermarkets, 24-hour convenience stores, restaurants, and bars, so you'll have no trouble finding things while traveling. The house is in a residential neighborhood, so it's very quiet at night, so you can enjoy a stay and experience as if you were living in Japan. You can access all of Kyoto's tourist attractions by public transportation such as trains and buses from the nearest station, JR Yamko Station and Yamko Subway Station. It is also easy to get to Kansai Airport, Osaka, Nara, Tokyo, and many other places. This place used to be one big guesthouse, but during Covid19, I have stopped running the guesthouse and I moved in with my wife and 2 kids. Still I didn't want to give up so I left the good parts. YAMANOTE HOUSE is accessible from major Kansai stations with 37min from Kyoto Sta. or 65min from Osaka Sta. If you come by car from Kyoto it takes less than 1 hour. The area aournd the house is once small castle town. The house is located next to the Shrine, Hiyoshi-Jinja, where the Omizo Festival is held on May 3 and 4 every year.

京都の有名庭師が手掛けた日本庭園を眺めながら、日本の古き良き古民家でご家族・ご友人一緒におくつろぎください。 シングルの布団を4つとダブルの布団を1つご用意しておりますので、最大6人まで泊まっていただけます。 日本特有の古民家ですので、建具のがたつき等多少の不具合もあるかと思いますが、そのあたりも古き良き日本の建築と愉しんでいただけたら幸いです。 人工芝の庭もあり、ペットも泊まっていただけますので、愛犬との旅行にもご利用ください。 お子様連れの家族様も大歓迎です。子ども用の食器やエプロンも準備しております。 最寄り駅の京阪大谷駅には徒歩7分、JR大津駅は車で5分です。 最寄りの大谷駅近くには美味しくて有名な老舗鰻屋さんが2軒もあります。 京阪大谷駅から宿までは歩いて１０分弱ですが、少し上り坂になっていますので、チェックイン時に荷物が多い方や歩くのがあまり好きではない方はJR大津駅からタクシーを利用するか、お車で来られることをお勧めします。 宿のすぐ前に無料駐車場をご準備しております。駐車場は2台停めることができますので、2組様でご利用される際にも便利です。
