Farmstay holiday rentals in Ouachita River

I was moving across the country, and Sandra’s beautiful farm was exactly what I needed. It was peaceful, quiet, nice and cool, and it allowed my dog to stay with me. Sandra was very kind, proactive, communicative, and friendly. Perfect host!

Great spot! Clean, comfortable and a cute little welcome dog the greeted us on arrival and said good morning the next day. ONLY con is that as a busy family who doesn’t know how long it’s going to actually take us to get places on road trips due to potty breaks etc I love when places have electronic locks so that no one else is waiting on us. I always feel bad when a host wants to greet us and I have to change the time and make them wait. Regardless, they were there to greet us when we finally made it with a welcome smile. Thanks!!

She is always on hold ready to help and assist with anything and any questions! The cabin is cute and very comfortable. Room enough for a family and very safe and private. I reccomend! And definitely will go back

This was such a beautiful and secluded setting! It was everything we were hoping for and more. The rustic, bear decorated cabin was perfect and very comfortable. The complete wrap-around porch let us view the deer coming out of the woods into a flowered field on one side and the flowing creek on the other. The creek was so clear! I enjoyed walking in and around the creek. A fire ring, picnic table and grill were there. The kitchen had all the dishes, pans and accessories we needed too. The thorough provision of towels, linens, cleaning supplies, amenities was great! We love nature and this was perfect. So many kinds of birds too. Nearby experiences that we enjoyed were Little Missouri Falls, hiking and digging crystals. I could go on and on; we really enjoyed it. Lisa it is a wonderful place that you and John Karl provide. Peyton’s place is my go to spot when I’m visiting my hometown. It’s close to the event center and downtown Wisner.

This place was great and the host was very accommodating. Came down for a rodeo held locally and this stay was very convenient to the arena. The girls swam and played when they had time and we were able to rest from the heat. Would definitely recommend if you are in the area!

This cabin was an awesome place to hang out. Marcia goes above and beyond as a host to make sure you get the most out of your stay. I highly recommend a few days in the cabin to unwind.

Perfect place if you are going to the National park and to the downtown area. Such a quiet neighborhood and beautiful area. Such a cute house and had everything we needed. Milly was a great host.

We really enjoyed our stay and loved all the extra amenities that were provided! It was extremely clean, family friendly and all around made our vacation amazing! The only thing we wish was that we booked it for longer!!

Our family completely enjoyed staying at El Secreto. The rural road to get there was a bit bumpy, but it was so worth it. The cabin is beautiful, and all the amenities are top notch. We spent a lot of time on the large back deck playing corn hole, fixing dinner on the Blackstone and sitting in the hot tub after a day on the lake & hiking. We saw deer pass through the property everyday. Evelyn responded very quickly to inquiries and is a very kind and gracious host. We would definitely stay there again!

Super comfortable and the perfect “cabin” feel but not too far away from anything! Peaceful and quiet and plenty of space for a big group!

The barn was absolutely perfect! Would recommend to anyone traveling in and around the area! Such a gem!

This is the 3rd time we've stayed at this listing and I never want to stay anywhere else when we travel to this area to visit relatives. It is perfectly homey and had every single thing we needed. From the kitchen to the laundry room to the bathrooms, everything except for fresh groceries was supplied. The setting is so peaceful and relaxing, complete with livestock to enjoy watching. There's a huge variety of birds and we really enjoyed sitting on the porch listening to them every morning and evening. We look forward to coming back.

This was the cutest AirBnB I’ve ever stayed in! It was so cozy and quiet!! After this trip, we have decided to make this a yearly trip!!

We really enjoyed our stay. The cabin is peaceful and private. The sitting area by the water is secluded and quiet. Loved the windows looking out to the water. We wanted a weekend away from our normal busy lives and this was “mission accomplished “. The homemade biscuits were delicious and some of the best I have ever had. Yard eggs and homemade jelly just topped it off. Our host was very responsive and willing to help. I also enjoyed meeting their sweet dog. I would recommend staying here if anyone is ever staying in this area.

Donna was a great host. We had the best time and felt at home. My husband loved the beds they were so comfortable. We will definitely be back soon.

Great place! Super clean. They just purchased a new hot tub and it worked great. We used it daily. My husband and grown sons loved the pool table. I loved the swing on the balcony. My husband used the grill one night and said it heated up really well. My son and daughter in law used the paddle board and kayak twice. The dock hasn't been rebuilt yet but they were able to get in the water right next to the fence with no problem. Wear bug spray if you go down to the water. There are vicious red bugs that ate my husband up! Definitely would recommend Eric's place and wouldn't hesitate to stay there again!

Stayed 4 nights in this private, peaceful home. Highly recommend especially for nature lovers. Will be staying here again the next time I’m in town! Also check out the Sullifarm shop just next door for fresh meats, eggs, milk, candles & more! Thanks again.

Steve, was a great host. One of the best we have ever had. He was very friendly, outgoing and went above and beyond to make sure our stay was more than what we expected. He shared with us the history of his property and was very informative of the amenities. Definitely will be planning on staying here again, if we are in the area. Amazing getaway. Everything was exactly as described, quiet and relaxing. Enjoyed sitting on the porch watching the stars and deer. The hot tub was so relaxing. The cabin was so cute and stocked with everything you could imagine needing. We will definitely be back!!!
