Holiday rentals with a kayak in Ouachita River

Great place to stay. Very comfortable for our family. We will definitely stay again.

As this was our first AirBNB rental, I wasn’t sure exactly what to expect… however, Shannon’s listing and pictures of the property had my expectations pretty high. And then the actual experience exceeded them! Beautiful home, amazing view and imho the perfect location for discreet lake access, privacy, quiet and ease of coming and going. I find myself imagining what it would be like to live here with what feels like an awesome treehouse view looking south toward the water. Everyone who saw the Yurt this weekend was impressed. Convenient to Hot Springs while still feeling like you’re tucked away in your own secret world off the beaten path. I’d stay here again without hesitation.

Great place! Super clean. They just purchased a new hot tub and it worked great. We used it daily. My husband and grown sons loved the pool table. I loved the swing on the balcony. My husband used the grill one night and said it heated up really well. My son and daughter in law used the paddle board and kayak twice. The dock hasn't been rebuilt yet but they were able to get in the water right next to the fence with no problem. Wear bug spray if you go down to the water. There are vicious red bugs that ate my husband up! Definitely would recommend Eric's place and wouldn't hesitate to stay there again!

My family had the best time staying at this house! We had 4 adults and 2 kids (5 and 8 years old). The house itself is beautiful. It looks newly built. We’re a big fishing family and having the dock right there was a huge bonus for us. The water was still a bit too cold to swim, but that didn’t stop the kiddos! They had a blast. The house has extra life jackets, fishing poles, and has kayaks! I know there’s some comments about the neighborhood looking rough compared to the beautiful home being rented, but the neighborhood wasn’t bad at all. We didn’t have any issues with the neighbors. I consider it just a normal “lake property” where there’s a mix of homes, RVs, trailers, etc. It didn’t bother us one bit. Thomas was quick to respond if we had a question. Everywhere we ate was delicious. If you’re looking for a quiet getaway, I highly recommend staying here. We will definitely stay here again.

The house and property are exactly as described. “Serene” is the perfect word to describe our family’s experience at this property. Julie and Rory are friendly, accommodating, and very responsive hosts. Thank you! The direct lake access was the high note. Our family enjoyed the views, grilling, fishing, and kayaks. The area is very safe and quiet. The house is modern and very clean. Many little touches around the house made the stay even more enjoyable. If we are in the area, we will definitely stay at this place!

Perfect two nights in a very spacious 2 story home in a wooded setting. Decks off of kitchen and upstairs Master Bedroom. The stairs to the lake and dock are steep but I was certainly able to make the walk and I have a total knee replacement scheduled for July 14. The lake was not our primary interest for the time there. Garvan Woodland Garden, The Pancake Shop, Superior Bathhouse Brewery, shopping downtown, grilling on the patio. Great time !!

Lance & Suzanne’s house was more than perfect for our stay. The house had everything we needed & made for a great trip with my niece & her friends. We loved getting to swim off of the dock & kayak. The lake is beautiful! We got to enjoy the view of the lake from the house which was even better. I will definitely stay here again!

We enjoyed our stay. The cottage had everything we needed and the kids loved the game room. Lake and swim dock were very nice but it was rainy so we didn’t get to enjoy that part.

This is a great space. There are so many sitting areas to enjoy the relaxation and seclusion. I will recommend this spot to everyone in my home town of Monroe/West Monroe Louisiana that is looking for a couples retreat. The place is also so close and easy to everything a person might come to Hot Springs for (very important). We will come back, for sure. Thank you Donna and Luke

We had the most amazing stay! We spent all day fishing, swimming, and kayaking. The property was perfect for my outdoorsy kids. The inside of the home was the cherry on top- comfy and clean! We would love to come back again.

We spent 5 wonderful days at the cabin and can verify that what you see in the listing is what you get. The cabin was spotless, cozy and well stocked with everything you need. My favorite spot was the screened in porch. I had my coffee there every morning while watching the wildlife and enjoying the sounds of nature. There are tons of things to do in the area. We spent most of our time exploring the local state and national parks. Our toy poodles got to come with us and the cabin was well equipped for them too! Would highly recommend this cabin if you’re coming to Hot Springs!

We’ve stayed here plenty of times and will continue to come back each time we are in the area. Cabins are comfortable and clean. Staff members are amazing! The view is superb! Thanks for another great stay!

This home was better than we could have ever expected! Beautiful views out back, beautiful/unique decor, incredibly clean, and had literally any and everything you could need. Kayaks, fishing poles, life jackets, and so much other outdoor equipment were provided, which made enjoying the water easy! I also loved how D made sure our dogs enjoyed vacation just as much as we did. Water bowls were conveniently placed around the property, along with dog toys and treats as well. This meant a lot to us! D responded quickly, and was so friendly and welcoming. It felt like a home away from home. We can’t wait to come back!

I am a hardworking mother, I love water, and I love to fish. This was the perfect place to just get away from it all. Jesse was very nice, his responses were prompt, and his space was amazing!

Me and my little family absolutely loved this home. It had literally all of the essentials . And was so cute and put together.

If you are looking for a place to relax and decompress, this is it. The house is updated, rustic, and chic. Wife saw the ice maker and got excited! First night we lost power and woke up but the storm sounds put us back to sleep. The sounds and sights of wildlife were beautiful. Swamp serenade as they say! The sway isn't bad, wife had to grab walls and counters the first morning for it is different when you walk around, trying to find caffeine. We did not spend much time inside at all. Spent $20 on bug repellant and not one blood sucker decided to make a withdraw, with not having to put any of the protection on. We will be using it at home. Look for the otters playing mid morning, they stopped when the wife was talking to them. The catfish that mocked me after getting away still lives. When fishing from the dock keep short line and always CAST LEFT!!!! Purely an enjoyable place and the hosts were always responsive, will definitely book again. 5 stars!!!!!

Other than the hot tub needing to be cleaned, it was a very nice place with excellent amenities.

the multiple levels of the decks were absolutely lovely and the height enabled us to be able to see the water and enjoy The View. The host, Brandon, was absolutely wonderful and accommodating.

It was just as beautiful in person as online. Perfect place to unwind.

This place is absolutely beautiful, very clean and private. Luckily this place is walking distance to my dad’s house so I will definitely be back soon. The place was extremely clean and beyond comfortable. Great fishing in the pond and so relaxing . To not hesitate to book this place . There is a bridge you must cross and it’s a little steep but manageable and kinda fun. Skip was an awesome host and very quick to respond. 10/10

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the cottage. It was the perfect get away for us, our kids and grandkids. We enjoyed fishing, paddle boating, the fire pit, and the beautiful view. We would definitely come back to this quaint place. The hosts even had a personalized welcome for us! The kitchen was stocked with spices and thankfully coffee filter since we forgot ours! We made so many wonderful memories and I know the grandkids will be begging to go back!

Two night getaway for 6th wedding anniversary. Peaceful, quiet, restful time. Bed was super comfortable and the fireplace was wonderful over the colder than normal weekend. Enjoyed eating at the Ouachitas and the Chopping Block and looking around the family owned furniture store. Friendly greetings all around!

Loved this place so much!!! The screened porch on the bayou was EVERYTHING!! :) it’s so peaceful and gorgeous!!!! Love love loved it :)
