Skye Red Fox Retreat - stunning luxury glamping

The Red Fox Retreat is the ultimate luxury glamping getaway location. A twist on the more conventional ‘pod’, the cabin features a curved wood interior entered from an arched doorway in front of which is situated a perfectly appointed king sized bed with amazing views of the Trottenish Ridge and the croft (farmland) that surrounds the property. It is warm and cosy to protect against the elements and yet light and airy. The cabin is accessed via a spectacular large undercover deck area.

Gate Lodge on Conservation Farm Isle of Skye

Opened in January 2020, the Gate Lodge is a charming octagon with plenty of original character. Falasgair

Falasgair is a modern cabin on a working croft, which captures uninterrupted views over Portree bay, Ben Tianavaig and the Cuillin hills in the far distance. The cabin itself has a full height atrium which includes a functional kitchenette, seating area, log-burner and a three-piece bathroom suite. The mezzanine level is accessed by a wooden staircase featuring a comfortable double bed. Situated just off the Scorrybreach trail this is the perfect launchpad for your Skye adventure.

This unique place has a style all of its own. set on the top of a hill with stunning views over the sound of Sleat, taking in breathtaking views of the Isles of Eigg and Rum and in the distant the most westerly point of Scotland. Either sit and relax outside on the decking or down at the fire pit enjoying the peace and tranquility. Cottage on the shoreline with lovely bay. The east side of Harris is single track roads with passing places.

The Wee Wooden Yurt at Caolas Gallery is a green roofed, original wooden round house with picture windows giving an uninterrupted view of the sea across to the Isle of Scalpay and South East Harris. Features include a central dome roof window, a bath room, a kitchen, comfortable chairs and a wood burning stove, and of course a double bed. The Little Skye Bothy

We have replaced our Little Skye Bothy in 2022. Same view but a little more space and you still have your own piece of tranquility with outstanding views to the loch and the mountains. There will be more photos to follow soon. The pod has kitchen facilities, 2 ring hob and microwave (no oven). There is a shower room, breakfast bar and stools, TV and wifi is available.
