Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Overland Park

We had a wonderful stay in the heart of Overland Park! There is so many amazing restaurants near by that are some of my past local favorites. We had such easy access to all parts of the city we were wanting to explore. There are a plethora of huge parks near by! A few we hit up were strang park (not even 5 minutes away and newly redone), Meadowbrook park (this was my kids favorite with the huge ninja course, Mohawk park, Roe park, and tomahawk park are all within 10-15 minutes and also all new and redone! The easy access to 1-35 allowed us to travel quickly to visit science city and all the museums that KC has to offer. We simply ran out of time but had everything we needed for our stay in KC. House is fully equipped with a stocked kitchen and toiletries. We would return again. Just was very kind and quick to respond. Oh and the backyard is huge and offers tons of private space away from your neighbors which we loved! Thanks again for having us.

This house was absolutely beautiful!! It made a perfect place for our family to stay to watch our daughter graduate with her PhD .

We came in for the Yankees-Royals game and Becky’s place had everything we needed. It was even better than the pictures. I would stay here again without hesitation and recommend to anyone else needing a place to stay in the KC area!

We stayed here while visiting a family member in the hospital, and it was just what we needed. The space was clean, comfortable, and easy to find. The host provided clear instructions, making check-in and our stay stress-free. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a quiet and convenient place to stay.

Place was immaculate and great location. It is obvious that the host put a lot of effort into making this a comfortable spot for a stay. We visit KC often and this was the best yet.

Awesome place perfect for our family visit to see our niece graduate. Right near major dining and grocery stores so that was a plus ! Great amenities within the home especially having laundry available for our little ones. Would stay again.

We had a great stay at Christine’s home! We couldn’t have been more satisfied with our visit. The home was as described. We loved all of the flowers, fruits, and trees in the yard. Our two dogs loved walking around the yard. We would stay here again on our next visit if/when the time comes.

Martha's home was immaculate, organized, and beautifully decorated. We had everything we needed and felt right at home during our stay. The train can get pretty loud at night since the neighborhood is so quiet but Martha provides guests with ear plugs, which is really thoughtful. Communication with Martha was exceptional and she was very accommodating with a last minute schedule change on our end. I would absolutely recommend this home to others.

Mary Graces listing is probably one of the best, if not the best AirBnb I have stayed in. She was very friendly, and responsive. The unit is a FROG or Full Residence over Garage, but had all the amenities of an apartment. Comfortable couch, big television, good AC, stocked kitchen, and comfy bed (on the softer side, but that's what I like). Bathroom was the crown jewel, I'm envious of the shower head, and amazing water pressure, my Son enjoyed taking baths in the deep tub. Mary was very sweet and even sent us local recommendations of things to do. If you're visiting Worlds of Fun, you can't get any closer, don't think twice just book!

Absolutely magical stay! Holly and Leo have created something truly special at their hobbit-themed home. From the moment we arrived, everything felt like a dream. Pie Time was absolutely incredible—worth every bite and every penny. The ice cream shop just down the street was impeccable—smooth, creamy, and full of flavor. And the coffee shop they own? A must-visit. The cappuccino was rich and velvety, and the avocado toast was fresh and delicious. The baristas were so kind, making the whole experience even better. We stayed during our anniversary, and Holly and Leo went out of their way to make it feel truly special. The shower was next level—such a relaxing escape. And sitting outside under the full moon, bathed in its soft light, was peaceful beyond words. This place isn’t just a stay—it’s a memory we’ll never forget. Thank you, Holly and Leo.

It was very comfortable to stay at Russ’s place. Bed was comfortable. Kitchen has everything we needed. Nice large living room area. The pool was wonderful on the hot days we had. Russ was out of town but always available by messaging. We felt very cared for during our stay. Highly recommend!

We loved our 2 night stay for a wedding in the area. Cute little downtown, comfortable beds, nice bathrooms, plenty of room for our party of 7. I would highly recommend

Overall it was a good stay. There were a few minor issues like trash left behind on the porch and the couch bed was dirty when pulled out, but Kevin and Ashley were responsive and took care of them quickly. The smell and noise were not anything the hosts could control, it was very definitely other guests in the same building who had weed and were noisy. It was not too bad, just definitely noticeable and more so because I have small children who were trying to sleep. As far as location, it’s right off The Paseo so not an area I’d “take my kids for a walk in” but good in terms of location for the activities we had planned and it was easy to get in and out of.

We had a wonderful time! Glad we selected this Airbnb. Our host, Justin was super responsive. It took a minute to figure out the parking and check-in. Once we had it down, it was pretty clear. Justin answered all of our questions. We were impressed with perks and amenities. The apartment was clean, and met our expectations. My favorite was the arcade and the lobby on the lower level. We didn’t get to enjoy the rooftop pool, since we were short on time. The view was amazing! I almost forgot to mention the Pet spa, designated pet area, and Coffee Shop. Walking distance from Power & Light District, and T-Mobile Center. I will definitely book again! Thank you all very much! 😊
