The house is also close to renowned places such as the Norwegian Nature Center (450 m) Vøringsfossen (13 km), Hardangervidda, Kjeåsen (19 km), Trolltunga (82 km). Side by side with the apple trees in an old, organic orchard – the oldest part on our farm, «Fretheim Gard» – you'll find it: Beautifully situated by the fjord in Flåm, only a short walk from the center of Flåm and station area. The cabin is architect-designed by Stiv Kuling and was completed in 2023. It's built entirely of Norwegian pine. A modern, bright, and comfortable cabin with stunning views, a peaceful location, and close to hiking trails and natural attractions.

Fogefonna sommerskisenter is one houer by car from us. There are many fine hiking in the surrounding area. The most famous are Trolltunga, Oksen and the waterfalls in Husedalen,Kinsarvik. It's nice to cycle along the fjord into Agatunet or against Utne with Utne hotel, and Hardanger Folkemuseeum .
