The village is a haven of peace and quiet but close to the historic towns of Stow on the Wold, Bourton on the Water and Broadway among others. There are also many beautiful walks from the house.

The Annex is a delightful, warm, quiet and comfortable dwelling built within the garden of our village home and adjacent to our garage. Towersey is one mile from the market town of Thame, and has an excellent village pub plus access to the Phoenix Trail cycle & footpath. The Annex has its own entrance with parking space, a double bedroom with king sized bed & tv, and sitting room with fridge, microwave, coffee machine, kettle, toaster, plus tv. There is a power shower over the bath.

Twin room and single room in modest post-war semi. Parking. Shared shower room. Good choice of local eateries for an evening meal. No cleaning fee. Bike available (6 miles to city centre.) Frequent bus services (see below). Very safe at night. Books. Wifi. Canal walks. Kidlington is a welcoming market 'village' of 18,000 on Oxford's northern edge. Richard Branson was its most famous resident. Four minutes walk from a bus stop to take you to Oxford University or Blenheim Palace.
