We had a lovely weekend away staying in the Annex. It was so good to have 2 joining rooms as 2 couples - everything that we possibly needed is accommodated for. Deborah is extremely helpful and responded to messages quickly. Lovely big comfortable beds and the location is gorgeous - we had a great time! Thank you!

This was a wonderful stay at a beautiful place with a delightful host couple. I very much look forward to staying again next time I’m in town. A quintessentially English experience that I couldn’t recommend more highly!

Phil and Debbie were really helpful. We didn't have a car so Phil gave us a lift to the nearest supermarket to do some basic shopping. He also recommended his friend as a driver if need be. The area is really peaceful and quiet so if you look for silence, this place is definitely for you. However, if you don't have a car it might be a challenge to get around as local public transport is limited. Well, we made it so it is still possible 🙃 but this is the price for a really peaceful place, isn't it?

Lucinda was the perfect host, she provided beautiful personal touches that certainly made our overnight stay 5* experience…to lighting the beautiful fire prior our arrival to providing light snacks & milk/juice for us to enjoy throughout our stay. The grounds were absolutely stunning and extremely peaceful which we both wanted. Short car drive will get you to Farmers Dog Pub which was the purpose of our trip. Overall 10/10 and definitely will be returning soon.

So handy for exploring Wantage. Despite the heat wave the room was cool and comfortable. The garden is a delightful oasis. Thank you

I had such a great stay! Everything you could need or want was provided, it was very clean and the little extras like milk and the treats left were so appreciated. I would highly recommend and will definitely return next time I’m in the uk. The house instructions were clear and the hosts were friendly and welcoming! You really couldn’t ask for more and I thought it was very good value. The annex was spacious, private with gorgeous gardens. I loved the fact that there was plenty of space and it was very well laid out. Loads of hanging space and hangers for my clothes, washing machine and tumble dryer, dishwasher etc…. Perfect for my stay of 24 days. Tv and internet was great, check in using lock box was easy, loads of parking, great location. 5/5 stars! 🌟

A great base for 3 adults and a child of four. Comfortable and clean, lots of books, games and equipment for children inside and plenty to use outside if the weather improves. We were visiting for an Interview and I,m glad to say we will be moving to the area soon.

Lovely peaceful location, friendly host. Listing reads as if there are views of the Thames from the windows of the property - there aren’t - though it is close by, not a problem at all for me but might be for future guests.

Sandra and her husband made us feel most welcome, as did their sweet dog and cat. Sandra had left some home made shortbread for us, along with some other treats in the fridge. The Annexe has a breathtaking view across the valley, Winchcombe and its church. The description in the listing was excellent and our three nights there were just perfect for us. We were attending a happy few days celebrating the Ruby wedding anniversary of close friends. The walk into Winchcombe is very pleasant and Winchcombe itself is a charming market town. We would love to return.

Had a great one night stay at Rosamond and Maarten’s place, it was ideal for 2 people and had everything we needed, super comfy bed and fabulous bathroom with shower gel/shampoo etc provided. Tea/coffee/biscuits were provided and there was a little fridge with some milk. Porridge is there for breakfast but we had our own cereal with us and were able to use the bowls and spoons provided. The conservatory seating area was great, with a nice size TV with fire stick, as it was a hot day Maarten had very kindly provided a cold air fan which was a boon to us! The annexe is an easy 20minute walk into the centre of Stratford, maybe 25 mins if you cut down to walk along the river. Communication with Maarten was great, friendly and responsive and the info provided in the annexe was great. Would definitely recommend this place and we wish we could have spent longer here as Stratford is a lovely place and we would certainly look to stay here again when we next visit.

If you’re looking for a cotswolds stay, the stay at The Bothy is exactly what you need! Beautiful little retreat in quiet surroundings! exactly how it looks in the photos, and plenty of things to do around! The stay was perfect and exactly what we were after to enjoy and celebrate our engagement 🎉 Will 100% be back for a longer stay next time!

We had a great three night stay at Dale's place! It was extremely clean, comfortable and in a great location for visiting the Cotswolds. We enjoyed walking to Chipping Campden for dinner each night. Dale was very kind and welcoming. We would definitely stay here again if we ever come back to the Cotswolds!

Hoo Lodge was exceptional. Andy was responsive, and welcomed us upon arrival. The studio was impeccably clean. We could tell they had taken great care to make sure everything was just perfect. Things we loved most about Hoo Lodge: the light, the gorgeous kitchenette, and sitting out on the lovely patio furniture enjoying the peaceful cotswolds setting. We hope to come back someday!

Booked this for a relative who was visiting us in MK - they had a lovely time and thought the host was very friendly, the place was spotless and very luxurious. They also said the location was great - very easy to find and a beautiful garden to enjoy.

Lovely weekend at the Loft cottage. Beautiful location surrounded by nature, with very nice walks at a short distance, which is great as we had our dog with us. 5 mins away from cozy little village of Lechlade, with some nice pubs. Despite having a main road right behind, it was very quiet during the night. Good communication with the hosts and very easy check-in/out. Overall it was a very pleasant stay and we would consider it again for the future.

We had a lovely stay at Gillian's place. Gillian was very welcoming and the location was perfect for the wedding we were attending at the Royal Berkshire hotel. Highly recommend, very convenient close to London.

Hilary’s place was wonderful! She was very accommodating and hospitable! The annex was such a relaxing place for us! We loved venturing around Windsor and getting to see Windsor Castle which is very walkable getting to! Hilary was easy to communicate throughout our travels, and we loved getting to talk to her and Jamie! Thank you for a terrific stay! 🩷

Excellent property with stunning views across the Cotswolds. The host clearly appreciates technology as everything is very modern and convenient. Location is close to major attractions in the Cotswolds. Would definitely stay again and recommend!

Oh I absolutely loved it! Kirstin and Martin welcomed me personally, gave me tips and were there whenever I needed anything. The annex was equipped so thoughtfully, from Bluetooth box to ironing board and iron. It was impeccably clean and the bed was very comfortable (I don’t say this lightly). Overall, couldn’t recommend this place and Kirstin and Martin as hosts enough! Really looking forward to coming back!
