This antique, nationally recognized, historic building offers antique decor with a modern twist! Morgue decor throughout, rightly so..paying homage to its dark history. This is a loft setting offering a king bed, full size bed, twin and an antique settee(possibly suited for a small child). A large kitchen with small breakfast seating as well as a large table! And that bathroom!

We are located two minutes from the town square but you will enjoy our country setting. Small farmhouse, private fenced and gated yard, on a tiny farm on a gravel road. Host next door has dwarf goats, chickens, ducks, guineas (1 pair regularly visits/patrols the guesthouse yard), a goose, and a couple of dogs. Horses live across the road and around the curve and up the hill. Eggs and some other basic food items included! The James River Cabin is a luxurious secluded cabin nestled among the trees on 95 acres of river front property. It is just 10 short miles from Springfield, MO (Buc-ee’s and Bass Pro) less than an hour from Branson, MO. On-site activities are numerous and include bicycling, trail hiking, utv trail riding, kayaking, fishing, hot tubbing, and swimming in your own personal paradise. The river access is a short but fun two minute utv drive from the cabin.
