Apartment holiday rentals in Palaiochora

Truly a great apartment! Fully matched the listing. It is sparkling clean and everything has been thought of: tea, coffee, washing machine, you name it. It is in a quiet area, but at the bottom of the mountain there is a nice restaurant to enjoy the sunset. We had to mess with the jacuzzi for a while: it went on every hour in the middle of the night, but the host responded very quickly and was able to explain to us how we could solve this. We had a wonderful stay, I would recommend it to everyone.

We were very enthusiastic about the accommodation. After a warm welcome, we immediately felt arrived on our vacation. Our hostess was very warm and friendly. The apartment is in a great location. You can reach the beach in about 5 minutes and in another 5 minutes right in the heart of Paleochora. It is furnished with a lot of love for detail. Everything is very clean and corresponds to the description. From the balcony you have a very good view of the sea. The whole apartment with its balcony has a lot of wonderful atmosphere and you can relax and spend your vacation here. All the best to Crete, we will be back!

Perfect place for 2 people. The beach and the center are accessible on foot via a path in less than 5 minutes. The accommodation has a very pleasant terrace with no neighbors opposite and a small quiet condominium, the owner lives just above. The car can be parked safely on the condominium. In short, recommendation++

I had a wonderful stay! The host kindly met me at the bus station and helped with my luggage — such a thoughtful gesture that instantly reassured me, especially as it was my first time traveling solo as a woman. The apartment was spotless, beautifully decorated, and offered stunning views of both the sea and the mountains. Its location was perfect — everything was within walking distance, from charming cafés and bakeries to local markets and two lovely beaches just minutes away. The area felt very safe, and I especially cherished my quiet mornings reading on the sunny balcony. Everything was just perfect. I stayed for a week and would return in a heartbeat!

Vasilis and Panagiota are amazing hosts! They welcomed us with delicious coffee, fruit and cakes. Vasilis had a lot of recommendations that we checked and they were all great. The apartment is exactly as on the pictures, very spacious and well equipped ( kitchen especially). The building is located on the hill so I recommend having a car or a scooter. Thank you for everything. We enjoyed our holidays in your apartment very much!

Very nice apartment located a little away from the hustle and bustle of the city but still within walking distance. Very nice balcony with sea view. Easy to get to, with plenty of room to park. Eftychios is very responsive and welcoming. Go there without so much as a second thought!

Great little pad at Elafonisi, and pretty much the closest you can be to the beach - which is about 7 minutes walk from all the accommodation and town. Lovely and peaceful – even though it was central it was tucked away and felt remote. Could have been stocked a bit better - only enough for 1 1/2 coffees, no tea. Great fridge/freezer but no glasses or plates - though they delivered some when I asked. As it's a great spot to relax after your beach time. Would recommend.

Thank you Pavlina for your welcoming apartment. The apartment is very well situated in the heart of the village near the night life though very calm and quiet. It offers 2 rooms of fair size with air con and a living room kitchen nicely decorated and extremely clean . The kitchen is well equipped everything you need is there. I recommend Pavlina ´s apartment vividly. She is very reactive and nice in communication . Thank you very much. We had a very good stay.

I had a wonderful stay at Agave Suites! The location is a 2 min walk to the old city but still very quiet. The room was spacious and Nikos was always responsive to my questions and recommended some wonderful restaurants in Chania. Would absolutely stay here again!

The accommodation is very central and yet very quiet. The communication was problem-free, friendly and very accommodating. The quality of the accommodation is well above the usual average. I would book again if necessary.

Maryellen communicated really well before and during the stay. The house is a fantastic location but you need a car or taxi to get to local restaurants and into Chania. Maryellen even booked the taxi for us to Chania. The house is fully equipped with everything. The views are amazing over looking the sea. The outside space is great with magical pool. It’s on a hill so probably not suitable for people who find it difficult with stairs and because the pool is an infinity pool you would need to be careful of children in the pool. The house is private and in a quiet location. We will be going back, one of the best Airbnb we have been to.

I truly believe this is one of the most hospitable places I have ever stayed, and not just in Crete. The cottage offers a beautiful view of the sea, there are sun loungers, and you can swim. And what wonderful, welcoming hosts! The most delightful people! I am very grateful for how pleasantly and joyfully they interacted with us.

My girlfriend and I stayed at the apartment for 7 nights, we found the apartment perfect for what we had planned for our holiday. The staff were extremely helpful and replied to messages and calls promptly when we needed them. I would recommend this apartment to anyone considering it.

Mike was great from the start…we booked last minute and he texted me immediately. He made everything very easy and was extremely friendly when we got there to check in. He showed us everything about the apartment that we needed to know and gave us lots of tips on where to go to eat and to see the best sites. The rooftop space was beautiful and the apartment was very close to everything in the area… We were able to walk to everything! I would definitely recommend staying there… Thank you, Mike!

We had a dream stay. The apartment was almost more beautiful than expected and was equipped with everything. Brigitta welcomed us warmly and provided us with excursion tips and restaurant recommendations. Everything for the first breakfast was prepared as a surprise in the refrigerator. The location is very convenient to explore the beautiful beaches, but you can also simply enjoy the peace and quiet in the beautiful village. We would come back.

Great stay, great location, great views. Very close to many bars and restaurants. Not too noisy at night. The only slightly negative aspect was the shower. Basically made the entire floor flooded. Overall, i would recommend the place and would definitely return.

Hidden gem! Loved this home, literally two minute walk to Golden Beach. Katerina is so sweet (she met us in-person, had local restaurant recommendations, and even provided a bottle of wine). The home was perfect for our group of 6 (great value for the money, too). Would 100% come again!

Beautiful place and great host

Andreas was a friendly and responsive host who answered our questions promptly. The flat was well equipped and in an excellent location very close to the old town. We would definitely stay again when next back in Chania!

Great stay with wonderful sunsets and a great beach just a short drive away with nice snorkeling. Would certainly stay here again. Very responsive hosts and the place was very clean and well taken care of. Also was nice to have a little emergency medicine kit, some after sun lotion, and even some food and wine for the first night. Great attention to detail and we all felt right at home. One of the nicest places I have stayed in terms design and function. Great views of the sea and surrounding landscapes.
