Everything was wonderful, and it looks just like the photos. The location is very private and perfectly located within range of many beautiful beaches. Communication using English was a little challenging and led to small misunderstanding that was handled well in the end. I would definitely recommend this place for a wonderful holiday getaway.

Konstantinos’s place is perfect. The location is beautiful and only a short drive to some of best beaches we have ever been to. The pool is so lovely and surrounded by breathtaking mountain scenery. I have never had a shower with such a good view! I wouldn’t change a thing and would recommend to anyone.

Really enjoyed our stay at Phy-Sea villa! Marianna was a great host who greeted us with a tray of fruit and cheese upon checking in and provided us with several wonderful dining and activity recommendations. The place itself is peaceful and close to Chania while feeling like you are getting away. Though there are many beaches close by, we also liked having our own pool. Looking forward to coming back!

This house was absolutely amazing – just like in the pictures, if not even better! The location right by the beach is truly breathtaking, and we couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful setting. All the furniture and appliances are top-of-the-line – everything was spotless, high-quality, and incredibly comfortable. Ria was a fantastic host – super friendly, always quick to respond, and very helpful. We really appreciated how kind and welcoming she was. We truly enjoyed every moment of our stay and would recommend this house to absolutely everyone. A perfect getaway!

Wir hatten eine wundervolle Zeit in diesem Haus! Es ist genauso wie auf den Bildern – sehr sauber, liebevoll eingerichtet und in einer tollen Lage. Die Kingsize Betten sind sehr bequem. Der Kontakt mit den Gastgebern war von Anfang an freundlich, respektvoll und absolut reibungslos. Schon zur Begrüßung stand ein kleines, herzliches Willkommensgeschenk in der Küche bereit: Honig, Olivenöl, Kekse und Raki – eine sehr schöne Geste! Der Blick auf das Meer ist wunderschön. Anzumerken ist, dass das Haus sehr hellhörig ist. Es liegt an einer kleinen Anwohnerstraße, aber dennoch fahren dort Autos lang und man hört es vor allem morgens extrem im Bett. Im Verlauf unseres Aufenthalts wurden wir sogar mit frischen Eiern und Orangen aus eigener Produktion überrascht. Zum Abschied gab es dann nochmals Honig und eine Flasche Raki – einfach großartig! Die Gastgeber waren jederzeit erreichbar, hilfsbereit und ausgesprochen gastfreundlich. Vielen Dank für alles!

We had a wonderful time in the villa. Manolis was always very helpful and provided us support whenever we needed. I would absolutly recommend the villa. Especially the view is outstanding

We had an excellent stay at this Villa. Exactly as described and how it looks in the photos. Villa finished to a really high standard and lovely swimming pool. The villa is also nicely equipped & sone really nice touches from the host, Katerina, with locally grown vegetables & olive oil. Katerina went above and beyond as a host with regular cleaning & towels changes etc and was very supportive when our daughter was involved in an accident (not at the villa!) Would definitely recommend and go back 👍

A Slice of Heaven in Crete. Our stay in this beautifully designed home was nothing short of magical. Surrounded by peaceful olive groves and bathed in Cretan sunshine, every moment felt serene and special. The sweet little pool was the perfect place to unwind, and the home itself was as stunning as it was comfortable. The hosts were warm, thoughtful, and made us feel truly welcome. We left feeling rested, grateful, and already planning our return.

Konstantina ci ha dato tutte le informazioni necessarie per raggiungere l’alloggio, che è isolato dai principali centri urbani, ma ideale per chi vuole essere immerso nel silenzio e comunque comodo per raggiungere le più famose spiagge di Creta (Elafonisi, Balos, Falassarna). L’alloggio non è molto grande, giusto per due persone che devono stare qualche giorno, il terrazzo sopra è in condivisione con eventuali ospiti dell’appartamento accanto, ma è grande comodamente per tutti. Non c’è il posto auto dedicato ma vengono fornite informazioni per il parcheggio. Consigliato come punto strategico e tranquillo per visitare tutta la costa ovest di Creta in un viaggio on the road.

Ein absoluter Traum! Diese Unterkunft war einfach perfekt – von der Ausstattung über die liebevolle Einrichtung bis hin zur herzlichen Gastfreundschaft von Ksenia und Giannis. Alles ist hochwertig, geschmackvoll und mit so viel Liebe zum Detail gestaltet, dass man sich vom ersten Moment an wohl und willkommen fühlt. Ein echtes Highlight war die Terrasse mit einem atemberaubenden Blick aufs Meer – morgens mit dem Rauschen der Wellen aufwachen, abends mit diesem Panorama den Tag ausklingen lassen… unbezahlbar! Besonders schön war auch die Nähe zur gemütlichen Taverne, die von der Gastgeberfamilie betrieben wird. Dort herrscht dieselbe warme, offene Atmosphäre wie in der Unterkunft. Wir haben dort wunderbare Abende mit köstlicher traditioneller, regionaler griechischer Küche, live - Musik und ganz viel Herzlichkeit verbracht. Ein Ort, an den wir mit einem Lächeln zurückdenken – und an den wir definitiv wiederkommen möchten. Tausend Dank für alles!

Many wonderful things to say about Casa Polymnia. Quaintly situated in the small town of Topolia, this mountain getaway was perfect for our first time spent in Crete. The accommodations were beautiful and very comfortable. Amazing skyline views, a well stocked kitchen, stone bedroom, and courtyard! Easy parking in town. You’ll find amazing walkable restaurants ran by kind hosts whom will offer you raki with every meal :) We loved the food. The neighbors and locals showed us exceptionally warm hospitality. Casa Polymnia was peaceful respite for reading, writing, and relaxation. Don’t forget to check out the Agia Sofia cave located just south, and the Workshop Tsouris located just north. As well as any nearby beaches. Konstantina was highly responsive, super informative, and very helpful with local recommendations. Thank you 🙏

Ich fange mal mit einem Wort an. WOW. Die Gastgeber waren so gastfreundlich, wie ich es noch nie erlebt habe. Wir wurden persönlich empfangen, haben direkt paar Snacks bekommen und bestimmt ca. 1 Stunde hat man uns Tipps für die Gegend gegeben. Die Gastgeber sind sichtlich stolz auf ihre Insel und das mit Recht! Zum Abschied haben wir auch noch frisches Gebäck (mit Spinat drin, war sogar noch warm) und einige Souvenirs erhalten. Das ist das beste Erlebnis seitens von Gastgebern gewesen, was wir bisher erlebt haben. Es war nur ähnlich gut in Korfu (wieder Griechen :D). Zur Wohnung: Traumhafte Aussicht, sauber, super eingerichtet. Katzenfamilie vor Ort (4 ganz junge Katzen und 2 größere), die man füttern darf mit Futter, was bereit gestellt wird. Mit Kindern wäre das sowas von perfekt. Wir hatten sehr viel Spaß mit den Katzen. Und auch die Betreuung während des Aufenthalts war super. Theodosia war Immer erreichbar. :D Wirklich, mit der Wohnung macht man nichts falsch. :)

C’est un endroit parfait!! Les propriétaires ont pensé à tout , c’est décoré avec goût et soucieux des besoins des voyageurs. Ils répondent avec une grande gentillesse. Pleochora a un charme très particulier même si c’est touristique. Cela donne envie de s’y installer pour plus longtemps.

Die schlichte, moderne und schöne Wohnung ist mit allem Nötigen ausgestattet. Wir fühlten uns wohl und konnten uns in der ruhigen und privaten Atmosphäre gut erholen. Die Sonnenuntergänge und die Aussicht waren wundervoll. Die Tavernen im nächsten Dorf sind gut zu Fuss zu erreichen. Ein Auto und einen Einkauf in einem Supermarkt vor der Ankunft sind unerlässlich, der nächste grössere Supermarkt ist 30 Minuten entfernt. Auf dem Areal hat es einen frei herumlaufenden Hund.

Einmalig schönes, charmantes Tinyhaus, wunderbar zwischen Johannisbrot- und Olivenbäumen gelegen, schöne Terrasse mit ausreichend Schatten und Sitz- und Liegemöglichkeiten (wie beschrieben und auf den Fotos zu sehen). Die sehr freundlichen Vermieter wohnen in unmittelbarer Nähe (s.Foto 3). Danke auch an die sehr nette Servicekraft Vicky, die zwischendrin die Wäsche gewechselt hat! Die Nähe zur Loutraki-Bucht ist fantastisch, das Wasser dort kristallklar und herrlich zum Schwimmen geeignet. Interessant für zukünftige Gäste: die in anderen Rezensionen gelobte Taverne ist aktuell (Juni 2025) geschlossen, sehr nahe ist ein Luftwaffenstützpunkt, sodass gelegentlich Düsenjets- auch nachts- fliegen. Insgesamt empfehlenswert!

Tolle Gastgeber, sehr zuvorkommend & hilfsbereit. Die Familie kann man nur ins Herz schließen ❤️. Danke auch für den Osterkorb mit dem leckeren Gepäck und den Eiern. Und nicht zu vergessen, das selbstgemachte, kaltgepresste Olivenöl 😋 und viele liebevolle Details zum Empfang. Das wunderschöne und liebevoll eingerichtete Appartement mit großzügiger Terrasse hat unsere Erwartungen als Vielreisende voll erfüllt 👍. Besten Dank für die schöne Zeit auf Kreta.+

Wir hatten eine schöne Zeit, die Unterkunft ist wunderbar und wie beschrieben. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Es hat einen privaten Garten und eine Terrasse mit Aussicht zur Alleinnutzung. Beides war sehr toll. Insgesamt eine tolle Unterkunft, es fehlte uns nichts. Kommunikation mit Michalis hat auch super geklappt. Die Tipps haben wir ausprobiert, in der Taverne in der Nähe der Unterkunft waren wir gleich mehrmals. Wir würden jederzeit wieder kommen.

This place is fantastic. Two outdoor seating areas both with breathtaking views facing west so you can watch the sunset. We were there in December during Christmas and they had a nice wood burning stove to help warm the house in addition to an electric heater. There is nothing like the ambiance of a wood burning stove . They provided all of the firewood. They also had a fully stocked kitchen . It was an easy walk to town with all the restaurants. Almost all of which were closed when we went. The beaches are a walkable distance. One of the highlights was the Aradena gorge, a 30 minute drive. The trailhead is in a beautiful ancient town. The hike is technically challenging due to loose rocks. Honestly, one of my favorite things was the area. Off season, it is incredibly quiet and peaceful. I loved seeing all the goats and sheep on the hillsides. One thing to note is the bedroom is on the third floor and the bathroom is on the first floor. This was not an issue for us.

We had a lovely stay at Maria’s place. It was in a great location, very central, but we also found it very peaceful and quiet after 10/11pm, so it was easy for us to sleep well. The apartment was beautiful, with lots of space and a nicely stocked kitchen which allowed us to do plenty of cooking. The apartment had a beautiful view of the lighthouse from the dining table, and a lovely view of the street below from the balcony. Would definitely recommend.

Très bon accueil, beaucoup de petites attentions à notre arrivée, le propriétaire est très agréable et avenant et est passé pendant notre séjour pour voir si tout allait bien en restant discret. Très bel appartement, grand et bien aménagé. Nous y avons passé un très agréable séjour. Restaurant à côté avec musique crétoise tous les soirs sans que cela nous gêne. Un peu déçus de la vue mer car il n'y a pas une belle étendue et pas vraiment les pieds dans l'eau car beaucoup d'algues et très proche du port. Terrasse très agréable. Arrivée et départ très flexibles. Les propriétaires nous ont permis de partir un peu plus tard.

Eine Unterkunft mit einem wirklich atemberaubenden Ausblick. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Unser zweijähriger Sohn hat sich auch sehr gut zurecht gefunden und mit uns am Pool gespielt, man sollte aber natürlich immer einen Blick drauf haben . Insgesamt wirkt die Unterkunft deutlich großzügiger als auf den Fotos und ist bestens ausgestattet. Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Es gibt sogar Hanteln für Sport und Stühle und Schirm für den Strand und ein Töpfchen für Kinder. Die Kommunikation mit Eleni lief sehr gut. Sie hat immer schnell reagiert und alles möglich gemacht. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Eine sehr schöne Unterkunft. Alles war noch schöner als auf den Bilder. Die gut ausgestattete Küche, das große Wohnzimmer und die große Terrasse mit der grandiosen Aussicht machen den Aufenthalt einmalig. Der Kontakt mit Brigitta war sehr angenehm. Viele kleine Details im Haus zeigen eine sehr engagierte und liebevolle Gastfreundschaft. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen gerne wieder. In Sfinari gibt es einen Steinstrand. Für uns waren die 20 Minuten mit dem Auto zum Traumstand in Falasarna kein Problem.
