Holiday houses in Paleloni

This is the best Airbnb we’ve stayed in, like a 5 star hotel. The villa is beautiful and luxurious. Everything is new and works. Christina the host is amazing, very helpful. Each room has a well sized bathroom with a great shower. A breakfast basket was left outside at 8:30 am each morning - delicious! The kitchen is spotless and has all the tools you’ll need. There’s a BBQ. The villa was cleaned midway and the cleaners did a great job. It is quiet and secure. We slept well. The outside space is stunning. The pool is a constant 1.5 metre depth so perhaps not suitable for very young children. The local village is small and very friendly. There’s a great shop 10 minutes walk away, and next to that is a good restaurant (taverna). You definitely need a car here but I’d recommend you have a car anyway to explore Crete. The coastal town of Almyrida is 10 mins drive away with restaurants and shops. Chania and Rethymno are approx 45 mins drive away. Both have lovely old towns.

This place is a treasure. The views from the living room and kitchen are spectacular. The house has many clever features that are well designed. The area around Almyrida is fun to explore--go down to the beach or on a hike along the coast. Almyrida is a cute beach town, very welcoming. And we did several further from the town adventures. We had no idea that Crete has so much to offer--pottery in Margarites, beautiful beaches, intense hikes, exceptional museums, exploring Hania's historic streets. The property management team were wonderful to interact with. We felt so fortunate to find such a gem. Thank you!!! We sure hope we can return.

L'appartement est très agréable, équipé, propre et adapté pour deux personnes. Kefalas est un village de montagne charmant et on se sent en sécurité. Il faut avoir une voiture pour se déplacer, surtout si vous allez aux endroits les plus touristiques de Crète car c'est loin (1h approx) Je recommande vivement ce logement !

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans la villa idéalement située, avec vue imprenable sur la mer😍 Un vrai bonheur chaque matin d’admirer le lever du soleil et de prendre son petit déjeuner sur la terrasse. Je recommande vivement ce logement très confortable, idéal pour deux couples avec ses deux salles de bain, et ses deux chambres ( toutes 2 vue sur mer) 😍 Le village est plein de charme, authentique, avec plusieurs tavernes à proximité où nous avons très bien mangé. The Airbnb was very beautiful and it was a nice Place to stay. If I ever come one day again to Crete I would prefer this Airbnb

Das Haus war sehr sauber und wir wurden sehr herzlich mit allen nötigen Sachen empfangen. Es gab Öl, Salz, Pfeffer, Cafe, Tee, Obst und kleine Aufmerksamkeiten. Die Küchenausstattung ist sehr gut und die Betten bequem. In Kefalas weht ein leichter Wind, so dass es dort angenehm kühler ist und wir mussten im Juni die Klimaanlagen nicht benutzen - die Deckenventilatoren haben ausgereicht. Das war sehr angenehm in der Nacht. Alle Fenster und Türen sind mit Moskitonetzen ausgestattet. Die Terrasse ist ein Traum und man kann sie gut den ganzen Tag über nutzen. Für Ausflüge liegt Kefalas gut und man erreicht viele ruhige und schöne Strände innerhalb 15 - 35 min. Autofahrt. Zur Verfügung stehen auch 2 Strandschirme, 2 Strandstühle, eine Luftmatratze und für Kinder Strandspielsachen. Das war sehr angenehm für uns. Manolis war der perfekte Gastgeber, sehr aufmerksam und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Vielen Dank.

House is utterly charming and authentically Greek village style atmosphere. Private entry courtyard is lovely with garden. Felt very at home and cozy with everything I needed. And so close to town! Dimitrios was very helpful. Even had yoga mat!

I cannot recommend this beautiful villa highly enough. We had a wonderful week long stay and it felt like home from home. The villa is very private, set back from the road and has the most stunning view and surroundings. It is very well equipped, and we had everything we needed. The pool is absolutely amazing - our children practically lived in it! There is also the dining area and sofa under the veranda, where you can relax in the afternoon heat and take in the amazing views. Mike was an exceptional host - he was very responsive and helpful and gave us lots of tips of places to visit and restaurant recommendations. Nothing was too much trouble. The villa is located a short drive from Almyrida, which has a beautiful beach and several fantastic restaurants that are right on the sea front - amazing views when enjoying your evening meal. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and we definitely hope to return one day!
