Hemingway, rumored to have spent some time in Acciaroli, said of Italy, "Sometimes I think we only half live over here. The Italians live all the way." At Casa Speranza, I was afforded the quiet and space to access the the other half. The apartment was clean, simple, and walking distance to the Acciaroli beaches and the markets and cafes in town, and only a short drive (30-180 minutes) to some lovely walks and runs in Parco Nazionale del Cilento. Francesco and his mom and dad were very gracious hosts; check-in and parking was a breeze, and his mother Giovanna even went so far as to cook my partner and I acciuga in a red wine vinegar, garlic and mint as an unexpected surprise for lunch. We loved our stay here and would love to return!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Mirella’s home, and she is an incredible host! From the moment we stepped through the door, we felt completely at home. The house is inviting and cozy, with a spectacular outdoor terrace that makes it the perfect retreat. The views and location are amazing—just steps away from our favorite beach, and an easy drive to several other beautiful beaches. We truly felt like we discovered a hidden gem and can’t wait to return!

Having traveled extensively through Europe we were a little doubtful about the consistently exceptional reviews of this apartment but here we are adding our 100% recommendation. The apartment is beautiful and the location provides access to several day trips, including Positano and Amalfi, assuming you ever want to leave the balcony. The views are stunning so staying put is a valid choice! What sets this Airbnb apart however are the hosts. Never have we had hosts who were so helpful and invested in our stay. On the day we arrived, Angela and her husband drove us to the market to buy provisions (we could have walked but they wanted to save us the trip up the stone steps). Every day Raffaele checked in with us to provide recommendations, advice, or to offer to arrange transportation- sometimes by him! He sent detailed pictures for directions and checked in to be sure we found the bus stops etc. There are a lot of steps, so bring your sneakers and enjoy this amazing property.

Absolutely amazing place to be. waking up in the morning with the sun shining on your bed, seeing a beautiful mountain view from the window. And in the evening beautiful sunsets. Great beaches nearby, some hikes. Luca was very helpful and kind. I would very much like to come back once in the summertime.

Raffaella’s place was amazing and would definitely stay again! The view was absolutely stunning and the room was very nice and clean, just what we needed. The location to meet for check in was a little confusing at first but we found her quickly. Rafaella’s brother was able to carry our luggage up and down when we came and left which was a huge help since there were so many stairs. Additionally and most importantly, my boyfriend proposed here on this beautiful balcony and I cannot thank Rafaella enough for everything she did to set up and prepare it for him. It was perfect !!

We have just had an amazing stay at Carolina's beautiful house!! Carolina is an exceptional host, very welcoming, informative and helpful. She went above and beyond. The views were stunning from the Terrace, we loved sitting out in the evening and drinking Carolina's family made red wine. She even supplied us with fresh zucchini, onions and basil from her garden. Praiano also comes highly recommended. This area is so special. Thank you so much Carolina!!! We didn't want to leave.

This is a beautiful house. Everything is quality and comfortable. Me and my father love the place. The host had prepare for us a nice breakfast and even accommodated my free gluten diet. If you pass by this area and need a place to stay I really recommend. Finally Wifi was fast and stable and parking is available on site.

Everything was perfect. The friendliness of the owners was spectacular. Great breakfast too. Thank you very much for everything. 100% recommended My in-laws felt right at home.

We had a great time, the house was clean, comfortable with a great location, central, 10 minutes from the station and 5 minutes from the sea. The hosts were very kind and always ready to meet our every need. Everything was perfect😚

Very spacious apartment, for four it had plenty of space. Very convenient to reach the sea and downtown (small). Antonio was helpful, kind, and very ready to solve a small problem, not dependent on him.

What a great spot to stay, just up above the busy square. Quite when the doors are closed but amazing view and great patio when the doors are open. Federica was an amazing host and made us feel right at home!

Lucy’s Place was absolutely fantastic, and in the cutest hamlet of Almafi. 1000% recommend

The stay was perfect: Vito is a precise host who provides clear directions to the house and, on request, advice on what to see in the surroundings. The house is in a quiet and privileged location: by car, from the center of Pisciotta, you go up a dozen hairpin bends and you immediately reach the house (7 minutes), located in a heavenly location from which to see the whole coast; there is no air conditioning but it would not be needed as the house is cool. The house is very clean and Vito's parents are really welcoming: they will take you on a tour of the vineyard and vegetable garden to experience a "real" vacation and not just a tourist one. In the garden there is a very friendly German shepherd dog. I recommend this accommodation to those who have a car and want to experience the coast by moving between various beaches (Palinuro, Marina di Camerota, Ascea, excursions, etc.) and why not also fun (there are beaches less than 20 minutes away that are always active with parties and aperitifs). Absolutely book this Airbnb, it’s even more stunning in person! Roberto’s place completely exceeded our expectations. The photos don’t do it justice. We were blown away from the moment we arrived and are already planning to return. The spacious terrace offers a breathtaking view, with plenty of seating to relax and soak it all in. It was so peaceful and serene: a place that made us want to stay in and enjoy the home. One afternoon, with the incredible backdrop of the terrace, my boyfriend proposed, it was magical and unforgettable. The apartment had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, including an incredibly cozy bed. The location is ideal, just a short, scenic walk to the main square and its charming restaurants. We also found it easy to visit Amalfi and Minori from Ravello. Roberto is a wonderful host - warm, welcoming, and attentive. He arranged a private driver for us, greeted us at check-in, and offered local tips. He made us feel right at home. This Airbnb is a must!

We had the most wonderful stay at Giovanni Maria’s place. Our host was exceptional - so wonderfully kind and friendly, giving us so many wonderful recommendations and being the most fantastic host we have experienced. The apartment is huge, with three outside spaces overlooking the sea. It is very easy to walk to the beach and restaurants and the nearby train station meant we could easily reach Pompei, the amalfi ferry and the very lovely Vietri Sol Mare. A little piece of me will stay in the apartment - it was exceptional. We would love to come back one day.

Margherita’s condo is nothing short of a hidden gem in Salerno! Located in a secure location on a quiet side street, this place is very comfy and well-equipped with everything you could possibly need for your stay (however do be prepared to climb a few flights of stairs to access the condo!). We could’ve sat on the balcony for hours just marvelling at the breathtaking view of the mountains. Margherita and Francesca were wonderful hosts; always communicative and ready to help! Despite the language barrier between us, Margherita kindly took the time to meet us at the outside gate for check-in and showed us all that the place had to offer (including a tasting of her homemade limoncello!). It truly is the perfect place to relax and unwind after a day of exploring the Amalfi Coast. We are so grateful to Margherita and Francesca for taking such great care of us!! :)

An unforgettable stay – highly recommended! As soon as we entered the accommodation, we were greeted by a wonderful scent - it almost felt like we were entering an exclusive fragrance shop. The apartment was not only extremely clean, but also furnished with great attention to detail. Carla is a fantastic host: warm, likeable, attentive and incredibly helpful. Every day she kindly inquired whether we needed anything or whether she could help us with tips. She recommended wonderful places and was at our side digitally throughout the entire stay - always available and with great commitment. The apartment was spotlessly clean and well equipped. A note that Carla herself also gives: The location is well suited for those traveling by car. We spent 4 nights there and left every morning around 7-8 am for excursions. From there, we could easily reach Sorrento, Positano, Capri.

Federica was a welcoming host who responded quickly to messages and checked in with us during our stay. The apartment has everything you need for a holiday and the views from the terrace are amazing. We loved sitting there for breakfast and an evening drink. There are restaurants and supermarkets nearby. However please note that this is not an apartment for people with limited mobility. There are lots of stairs and it’s a steep walk back from town. For us it was a fabulous stay.

Our stay at Antonio's Airbnb was absolutely wonderful! From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home. The place was spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated. The place was even more charming than the pictures. Every detail was thoughtfully considered, from the fresh towels, to the incredibly comfortable bed. The location was also perfect; a peaceful oasis just and conveniently close to public transport and great restaurants . Antonio was an exceptional host, responsive, friendly, and went above and beyond to ensure we had a fantastic stay. We truly appreciate it.
