Its arches, domes and stained glass details are some of the enchanting architectural features they so admired and wanted to bring home with them. Its cobalt blue waters and the three volcanoes surrounding it make the view from the house a breathtaking experience.

Villa Eggedal is situated on the North shore of Lake Atitlan in the peaceful village of Santa Cruz. Ten acres of beautifully manicured gardens with pool overlook the lake and its surrounding volcanoes. The gardens make this a bird-watcher's paradise. There are 7 properties on this amble estate. The views are amazing but it does involve walking up numerous steps. If you are arriving after dark, please make sure to bring a torch with you. Only arrive by boat and not by car.
