Hostal Wünderbar is the ideal youth hostel, providing everything young adult travelers need and nothing they don't need. The manager, Richard, is an encyclopedia of local knowledge. The site endeavours to recycle food waste, which is another plus. I look forward to coming back one day!

I highly recommend spending your vacation there. Francisco is a one-of-a-kind welcome! We had dinner with him and his family. People with a big heart!! The beach and on-site facilities are well worth a visit. The only negative point ( said with lots of love ) is that when booking we can't choose the room and the number of people. I could just book for one person. I was told that there would be a supplement for the 2 nd person. (my boyfriend) At the end of my stay, I was charged double the price. I admit I was surprised and paid 2 x the price for 2 people in the room instead of one person. Maybe I should have informed myself about the extra price when booking because it changes a hotel room budget... All of us, Francisco and the people who work for him are exceptionally kind:)

Lovely and peaceful place to stay on Taboga and would recommend!

Great cost to benefit ratio, the place is quit, friendly and of easy access. Jiani and Lorenzo were very friendly and always quick to help and give answers to any inquiry. If you stay in Guanico you must visit their Café at the beach (The Break Surf Café), their breakfast menu and attention are great.

I absolutely LOVED my stay! The area is so beautiful and the room was perfect. Every single person working at the hotel was lovely and so helpful, we had great conversations. The owner even picked me up from the port area. I will definitely be back!

We stayed for three nights with our four young children (3,5,7,10yo). We can say enough about the hospitality Andres and Cari offered us. I have to admit, before arrival, we were nervous about relying on them for everything, but they truly made our experience easy and beautiful! Delicious home made meals (that considered our vegetarian and our picky kids), a peaceful and accepting environment, suggestions for places to go or things to see, it had it all! We took a boat trip to another beach and trolled for fish, and Cari prepared both a ceviche and fried meal out of the fish! It was a magical experience and if you don’t mind slowing down a bit, it’s a great opportunity to reconnect with family and read a book or two! Highly recommended and we hope to return (with older kids who can do some more robust island trekking!)!!

Happy with the island and with you we are going to come back and closed tropical will be our first option. They are 100% recommended.

We loved the place, very nice and relaxing. The kitchen quite equipped, I would only recommend having a coffee machine and a little more of usencilios or crockery for groups of more than two people.

Mia and her family are extremely good hosts. We felt like at home and welcome. The family's dogs also create a lively atmosphere. We already miss this beautiful spot. The activities also offered by the hosts are very entertaining and provide in-depth experience with regard to the country and its people. If we travel back to Panama we will definitely come back to Monkey Lodge. Thanks to Mia, Sabrina, Fabrice, Max and also the dogs 😀 for these beautiful experiences.

Fantastic location above a restaurant with really good food. Close enough to town to get there quickly in a taxi. Carolina had helpful recommendations and was easy to contact.

We had a great time at the Lodge. Daniel and Brian gave us a warm welcome and looked after us very well! A highlight was definitely the dinner cooked by Daniel, which tasted fantastic and where we also got to know other guests. Those were very nice evenings. We would definitely come back!

Awesome place in a very nice neighbourhood. One of the most spacious rooms I had so far with a private bathroom and a fridge. Shared kitchen has everything you need and grocery stores and restaurants at walking distance. Friendly staff, fast and stable internet. Highly recommended great value for your money.

It is a great place to calm down for a couple of days just simply doing nothing and hanging at the beach all day!

The lush jungle, beautiful Caribbean ocean views and weather allow a peaceful stay. On the other hand, there are many activities to engage in. Our hosts, Mandy & Gio were amazing! The other staff, Alex, Rigo, Sarah and Julia were also fantastic and fun! Thank you for an amazing stay.

Paradise location. Somewhat complicated access. Expensive dining and deplorable restaurant service. Bar service ok. Medium amenities but as expected. Very nice bedding.

beautiful and quiet place, desertic and paradisiacal beach, large and wild waves, pure connection with nature, nice beach club in front of itself for lunch and drinks, a little far from the center but if you want a good disconnection this is the place! the attention of Kristian excellent

We could not have been happier with our stay at El Caño - it is such a beautiful, special place and was truly one of our favorite travel experiences. Jordanno and Annie are extremely kind, generous, and thoughtful hosts, and it was lovely to get to know them a little bit. We would love to return in the future and highly recommend El Caño.

I loved my stay at Maronda! Gabi was sweet, nice, friendly, always available to help and advise us, the kitchen was always available and clean, the beach in front was wonderful, in the morning we would give fruit to the horses, the dogs are very friendly, only good things! The property is quite quiet and remote, but it is possible to get anything from the city if we talk to Gabi, she arranges for us to receive what we need, and we can always call a taxi. On the beach in front, in the morning, when the tide was lower, it made a kind of lake that was great for the kids. I really liked it!
