Maria was a great host. The air bnb and the view is fantastic. Close to amenities. However, a car is definitely needed to get out of the village!

This apartment is amazing same as his owner - Stella. It’s so quiet, homely, and good territory around: olives trees, you can see not so far sea. In apartment was waiting for us local vine and raki and fruits like a present from owner. The apartment was clean, big, with all necessary staff like forks, spoons , glasses, plates, hairdryer, bedlinnen, airconditioner etc. It’s not in the city center but if you have a car only 5min and you in loudly area. Parking is free in the apartment’s territory. Also Stella adviced us two the best local tavernas with the most tasty food and sea view😍 Higly recommend, very kindly owner and beautiful apartment, will back for sure.

**Great stay in Rethymno** Stayed here for 11 days and found the apartment clean and fairly well-maintained. Though it's on a main road, the double-paned windows and doors do an excellent job blocking noise. The host was responsive and helpful throughout our stay. The location works well - easy access to the beach and nice sunrise views over the city. Rethymno's position makes it convenient for day trips around Crete, whether heading east, west, or south to the smaller coastal towns. Clean, comfortable, and well-located for exploring the island. Would stay again.

Delighted with our stay! We were hosted very well, with sweet and savory specialties on the table! Sodas and fruit in the fridge. Nothing was missing. A beautiful park with olive trees, orange trees….. with a view of the sea in the distance. A great restaurant right across the street. Very good location for visiting the surroundings. Just plan to use a vehicle for shopping. Recommended

Fabulous Manolis and his family were wonderful, they were incredibly kind when meeting us upon arrival and very helpful throughout our stay - always responding to queries quickly and offering useful advice about the local area. The apartment is in a great location being a short walk from the sea, shops and the old town. The view from the balcony is gorgeous, with the fort to the east and coastline to the west. The apartment was clean and well stocked offering all we needed for a week long holiday.

If you’re trying to decide, just book it! This was probably my favorite place in Greece that we stayed. Great location, wonderful terrace. Well equipped kitchen. Lots of little extras that made us feel at home like creamer for coffee, toast with jam and honey. Wash machine was a bonus. Great communication. Would book again without hesitation!

We stayed at the property for a week and were completely satisfied! The apartment and also the garden were perfectly cleaned and after 3 days we got new bedding and another cleaning of the apartment. The apartment is perfect if you really want to relax and enjoy privacy. There is no noise, only nature. Communication with the host was easy, he was always available and was always happy to help. The only personal downside was the location as you were definitely dependent on a car, but even that wasn't that bad in the end and you can see an incredible amount through the car rides. We will be happy to come back :)

We loved the view and we were already planning to comeback later this year by the 3rd day. 😄 The place is just 15 mins walk from old town and there are a few cafes and grocery stores nearby. The beach nearby is not so crowded so go there instead of the main beach. Thank you Manos for hosting us.

When we arrived Pantelis was waiting for us outside in front of the listing. He was there to tell us we were there and told us where to park😍 He even helped us carry our luggage to the room. Back there a bottle of wine was waiting for us with 2 cups of wine🤩 In addition, we had everything we could dream of and in addition we had coffee, apples, and tender bars... wowww never seen that 😜 Such a nice attention🥰 In addition, the place is renovated and it's really beautiful😍 There is even a dryer on one of the galleries if you want to wash a few pieces of laundry ☺️ Listing is directly across the sea 😍 To tell the truth, it's the building that is across the sea but our room overlooked the mountain🥰 I travel a lot and this is my first time giving a 5-star rating and it really deserves a perfect rating.

Absolutely fabulous. Iwona’s apartment was better than we expected. The rooms were spotless, the a/c in the bedroom was cool, the shower was hot, the kitchen was well stocked and modern. The gardens were beautiful, the pool just right and the surrounding area is tranquil. The air in the mountains and the water from the taps is soft. The sun shone for our entire stay and the local cafe on the crossroads was perfect for a cold beer or a glass of something stronger... Friendly locals, hidden beaches and well stocked shops. Just watch out for the walk up Cardiac Hill.

We arrived very late but were warmly welcomed by Maria's lovely mother, with homemade cake and warm welcome. Great apartment 2 min from the beach with very nice beach bar and sun loungers. Private parking at the apartment, shops and everything one needs in the neighborhood. Bus into Rethymnon just across the street. Maria was very helpful with recommendations and other things, and followed up during the stay. Could not have had a better landlord. We would love to come back and recommend the place to others.

The apartment is large and everything was clean. A large bowl of fruit, wine and water was available. What we also particularly liked was that even butter, milk and coffee were available. Christos responded very quickly to questions. There were towels and umbrellas for the beach. The only thing to complain about is that it is relatively loud on the balconies. The bedrooms are in the back of the apartment and have good windows that can be darkened and air conditioning.

Unfortunately, we were only there for 5 days. We felt very comfortable from arrival, nothing was missing and the apartment was very clean. We would definitely recommend Zoi's apartment to anyone, as everything was also available within a short distance such as the beach, very good restaurants and the old town of Rethymno was within walking distance. We would definitely book the apartment again if we fly to Crete again.

Chrysa is a very friendly and helpful host. She answered all our questions very fast. The apartment was very clean and just like in the pictures. We felt very comfortable and would love to come back.

The space was spacious, comfortable, and had a beautiful view. We especially loved the large deck—perfect for enjoying morning coffee or dining outdoors. The location is great, with a wonderful bakery and market just a short walk away. You’ll need a car to explore the town and surrounding area, but everything is within a short, easy drive. Our host was incredibly welcoming and responsive, sharing great tips and insights about the area. They also took the time to share aspects of the local culture, which made our stay feel even more special. We were lucky to be in Rethymno over Easter—it was an unforgettable experience!

We are now back home and have had some time to reflect. From check-in to check-out, it was simply amazing. We felt right at home. Traditional food was regularly left at the door by the family. At the beginning, we were also surprised by this. We had a great rental car and drove around the area a bit. The place is perfect for that. Approximately 1 hour from Heraklion Airport and everything else is accessible. Would we book again and again.

Kostas is really a super nice and helpful host. He informed us in advance about the current road conditions and was always open to any question in general. The place was super clean and was cleaned every day on request. Everything really super clean and super organized. Can only recommend it!

We loved our stay at the Alice Villa. Location is truly fantastic for shopping and loads of restaurants. We spent quite a bit of time at the villa when the weather wasn’t the greatest and we couldn’t have been happier. Thank you Marianna for the wonderful hospitality and the gifts. Have to mention the people we met in the restaurants and on the streets, soooo friendly. We were very sad to leave. Could’ve stayed a lot Longer. Book it, youll love it. Until next time.
