We had a wonderful stay at Patti’s place! The location is incredibly peaceful and right by the lake—truly the perfect weekend getaway for couples looking to relax and recharge. The room was cozy and spotless, with everything we needed already provided, especially in the kitchen where all utensils and essentials were available. What made our stay even more memorable was how accommodating Patti and her husband were. On one stormy night, with rain and thunderstorms rolling in, her husband made sure we were safe and comfortable by bringing us candles and a flashlight—such a kind and thoughtful gesture. Highly recommend this gem of a place for anyone looking for serenity, comfort, and genuinely warm hosts. Thank you, Patti! 🌿🏡✨

Our stay exceeded our expectations. We felt this was our home away from home. Very quiet, private and private even though right beside the road. Our stay was very relaxing, clean with all the amenities for our stay. We had the perfect weekend for weather and sunshine. The outside movie theater was an amazing great touch to end the day cuddled up watching one of the nicest sunsets. We wish we could of stayed longer, but we are very grateful to have this experience and look forward to going back very soon.

Great quiet place to stay friendly host and quick response time

We had such a lovely stay! We brought our two dogs and our baby, and the place was absolutely perfect for all of us. It was incredibly clean and comfortable. Honestly, the bed was so amazing I’m seriously considering buying the same mattress for home. The host thoughtfully provided a high chair and playpen, which made traveling with a baby so much easier. The lake was beautiful, and we had a great time using the water toys they offered. Even when it rained, we enjoyed playing darts inside. Just like the listing described, it was peaceful, well-equipped, and relaxing. There was a bit of broken glass outside when we arrived, but the host was very apologetic and quick to offer a solution, which we really appreciated. All in all, a fantastic stay. We’d absolutely come back!

Walker’s Haven is an absolute stunner!!! We came up for a girls weekend and fell in love with it instantly. The interior is gorgeous, just like the photos show, and so cozy while being spacious at the same time. But our favourite feature was the outdoor space The location of the fire pit with its string lights, the second deck by the water, the spacious dock… the whole layout is perfect. The lake is gorgeous, clear and just so peaceful. Also great for fishing! We had a great time, despite not having the best weather, and we hope to come back again! Thank you for sharing your beautiful space with us!

An amazing off the grid cabin in the most beautiful location right on the lake. Paul is nothing but an amazing, friendly, accommodating host. did he check in a few hours after we settled but he also checked in the next morning and throughout the trip. Even just taking the boat out on the lake, he was nothing but amazing, providing any and all information. So much more was provided and available not only on the property but in the cabin. the only thing that made this trip better was in fact Paul's dog Scuba. My dog could not come on my trip so having a furry friend was an amazing bonus. If you want a getaway from city life be by the water, have an amazingly chill friendly host and an awesome adorable dog to play with this is the place to be. Will definitely be back in the future.

What a spot! So nice being on Nipissing! Quinn even had snacks sitting there for our arrival! Drinks in the fridge as well. My co-worker and I stayed here for a week and a half and are hoping to be able to return! Great spot, great value and great hosts! Thanks again!
