Jack and Maureen were great hosts! Cabin is in a very private, woodsy location. It had everything we needed. Plus the sweet bonus of homemade almond bread and fresh eggs! The cabin was so clean and welcoming - a wonderful place to rest! It is very close to several hiking trails and Cumberland Falls (only 5-10 minutes away). The fully functional kitchen makes it easy to just stay at the cabin and rest like we did -a lot. We picked up groceries in Corbin, but there are also Dollar General stores and Bell's convenience store between the interstate and cabin. We highly recommend! We are so thankful for our time at the Bear's Den.

If you enjoy the tranquility of the outdoors and a quiet setting,look no further. The host set out a large compliment of at homefeatures. Did you forget foul for the bbq. No worries, the cabin is a fully functional home as is. If quiet front porch sitting like us. This is your little slice of heaven. Btw there is train watching on the property.

Carrie was a great host - Super nice and responsive. I wish the AC + dehumidifier were on when we arrived but otherwise we had all we needed (well planned/thoughtful amenities), the basement was spacious (we loved the pool table!), and the garden was beautiful! I recommend staying here! As a larger family we all slept well (4 kids on couches + provided mattress pad) - The bedroom mattress was soo comfy + great pillows + duvet/comforter. Annnd easy check out. Felt like staying with family! Heads up, the driveway proves difficult for a minivan turn around - Possible just difficult.

Beautiful view! Very private & peaceful. Easy to get to & plenty of activities in the area. Cabin was clean and had everything we needed. Would definitely stay again & looking forward to another trip there. The view from the deck was spectacular!
