Cottage holiday rentals in Parthenay

While traveling for a conference in Niort, we stayed 5 days in Fabien's Airbnb. A small haven of peace where we were able to enjoy the pool and the terrace in the evening. The accommodation is spacious and pleasant, 20 minutes from Niort. Fabien is very welcoming and responsive to make the stay as pleasant as possible. I would highly recommend it

Small, quiet cottage in a large, well-maintained property. We were remarkably welcomed with nice touches. The pool is very nice, a perfect place to relax.

Charming house, very atypical! Corinne was welcoming and attentive. We were lucky to have good weather, and were able to enjoy the terrace (smaller indoor space for meals). The four bedrooms are very spacious.

An extremely pleasant extended weekend in a place full of charm. Julie is cheerful, attentive and considerate. I've rarely seen such a hearty breakfast in other cottages. Likewise, we also tested the proposed meal: excellent value for money. Finally, the jacuzzi session in the troglodyte cellar ended up charming us. I highly recommend this listing.

Our hosts were extremely kind and helpful. The lodgings were wonderful, and their gardens are amazing!

The accommodation is very clean, very well-equipped in a building that has a lot of charm and all in a very quiet environment. We were hosted very well and the instructions on how to use the various equipment were very clear. Special mention for the jacuzzi which is always nice. We would definitely recommend this place.

Mariusz is a friendly host. He provided us with a bottle of champagne soon after we had arrived. This little house is spacious for 2 people, the lounge is comfortable and the kitchen is very well equipped. We had stayed at two of Mariusz's houses before so we were sure the accommodation would be excellent.

We loved our time at Orchard cottage. Emma and Tim went above and beyond to welcome us, offer tips on good locations amd even offered to run us up to a local wine tasting. We were able to enjoy some "down time" relaxing in the beautiful garden, using the pool and reading in the hammock. And we also visited 4 local chateaux. We particularly enjoyed our day in Saumur. I highly recommend this venue for a fabulous experience of rural countryside and visits to some of the beautiful chateaux that the Loire region has to offer.

Elisabeth was very welcoming. The cottage is carefully furnished and equipped, everything is practical, accessible and charming. The bath towels are soft and the quilts are splendid. The garden is conducive to cooing, picking and hide and seek. The surroundings offer beautiful opportunities for bike rides, boat trips... in the heart of the Poitevin marsh. A very nice stay, in ideal conditions, from which you leave refreshed and invigorated!

As a family with young children, this home and its surroundings were perfect. The house is spotlessly clean, stylish, and spacious. The kitchen is well equipped, the bedrooms are generous, with shutters to aid a good night’s sleep. Our only minor suggestion would be to have a more comfortable indoor sofa. The outdoor space is wonderful, with beautiful flowers and a cherry tree. The swimming pool has a cover for rainy days and is glorious to uncover when the sun is shining. The resident peacocks kept everyone entertained. Lucie is a lovely host, warm, responsive, and discreet. A bottle of their family wine waiting for us on arrival was a thoughtful touch. I enjoyed morning runs with vineyard views. The house is a 20-minute drive from charming towns, like Chinon and Azay-le-Rideau. A particular highlight was the Chinon Forte. Overall, this was the perfect blend of peaceful country living with easy access to vibrant, picturesque French towns. We look forward to our next visit.

Believe all the good written here in all the reviews about La Vieille Gorce. We stayed in Le Poirier and had all the comforts (washing machine, dishwasher, equipped kitchen...). The bathroom was very clean just like the rest of the cottage. The well-kept garden with wonderfully heated swimming pool is bathed in an oasis of peace. Sarah and Paul are very kind and attentive, and respect your privacy. Beyond legitimate 'Superhosts'! This stay is absolutely recommended.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the farmhouse, at La Blatiere. If you want to be off the beaten track in a very pretty and relaxing location, this is ideal, whilst there are also plenty of places to visit within an hour or so. The pool was also a big plus, which we used every day. The roads are very quiet with no traffic. We visited local places and also had chilled days 'on site' so the pool, the bikes to borrow and the games room were fun additions to have. The accommodation was very comfortable and well equipped. We had a great time at Sophie and Will's place. The listing matches the photos perfectly. The view of Sanzay Castle is sublime and the place is peaceful. The alpacas are lovely! Will was very friendly and gave us tips for places to visit nearby. If you stay at their place, don't miss the Chateau de Bressuire, just 15 minutes away by car. The view from the back of the castle is very beautiful.

Small accommodation in a nice peaceful garden. Sophie is welcoming, easily accessible and the place is well located for rest and visits.

The accommodation is charming, cozy and very well equipped. It feels like home. The air conditioning upstairs is clearly a plus. And we liked the 3 bins (glass/yellow/trash) outside, no need to search for hours where to throw everything away when you leave the accommodation. Thank you for the advice of the guinguette de la ferme du pont it's really really great, we loved it!!!! And advice for future tenants, the restaurant l'auberge du cul de paille in Poitiers is a real treat! Only 12 minutes from Futuroscope and close to a bakery.

We had a lovely stay. Super well appointed environment ( games for children outside and large indoor games room). We were able to enjoy a canoe ride made available by hosts. The accommodation is very well-equipped.
