We spent two beautiful nights in this beautiful house with the crackling wood of the fireplaces, immersed in a fantastic place. Roberta was very responsive and quick to communicate, check-in was very easy with the key in the lockbox and the house exactly matches the description and photos. All rooms and bathrooms are very clean, tidy and cozy. The pellet stove and electric radiators in the rooms gave an extra touch of warmth, but the two fireplaces were already more than enough to heat the entire ground floor. The kitchen is very equipped with utensils and dishes and the cellar is full of wood ready for fireplaces! Campolemisi is a very quiet village, characteristic and immersed in the beautiful nature of Garfagnana. Thank you very much Roberta, we felt right at home... We hope to be back soon!

A beautiful traditional village home. Incredible views of the surrounding mountains. A fantastic base if your are a walker looking to explore this region. Very quiet at night. Had a great nights sleep.

We were able to enjoy this wonderful place for two weeks. During our first ride up, we were already enchanted by the beauty of the surroundings. Lara's house is on an open plateau surrounded by trees. It is a beautiful house, equipped with every comfort. It is clean and very well maintained. The view from the garden and your balcony is directed at Tassilico. A village you can walk to. Verni is a very charming village that you can walk to from the house. And you can have a delicious homemade dinner and/or lunch at Lara's, just let her know. Your table is set in a nice square and you enjoy, excellent! Feels like home. Lara is a very friendly woman and is always there for you. Has very nice tips to discover in the area. And there are several hiking routes to discover from the house. Via komoot we have discovered routes, in several lengths. We absolutely recommend Lara's house, if we could give a 6!!

Fausto's house is in the middle of an ancient village. This has the advantage that you don't feel lonely, but also the downside that you get all the noise. In this case, dogs that bark quite often. However, this disadvantage is taken care of by the fact that the place is quite high and is a few degrees cooler in the hot summer. It's especially pleasant that it cools down at night. And there are very few mosquitoes. It's not far to the nearest big city, Lucca, or to the sea, but you have to overcome many curves and serpentines. But that can also be fun. A little higher than the place is a kind of Noah's Ark with an incredible number of different animals. Mantanna is called this admirable place. An Alpine club house from where you can easily and beautifully climb to some peaks. But better with good shoes. All in all, the house is in a very nice neighborhood of Tuscany.
