Holiday rentals with lake access in Passaic County

I cannot thank Rick enough for the use of his beautiful, fun home with gorgeous views! I rented the house for the weekend for my husband’s 60th with his 3 friends and it was perfect despite the weather. They loved it! Rick was extremely communicative and offered a lot of information as well. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful holiday weekend at the lake house. The views and outdoor space are breathtaking. It is so wonderful for adults and kids. The house looks just like the photos, it was comfortable and clean. Owners are responsive, kind and always gave us suggestions on what to do each day in the area. We highly recommended staying here and would gladly stay again!

Our stay was very pleasant and peaceful. We had all the comforts of home and more. The house was spacious and the bedrooms were placed just perfect to have privacy. We used the guide book that was arranged so that we would know where the best grocery stores were and other amenities. Thank you for such perfect accommodations!

Beautiful home! It was spotless, cozy and comfortable when we entered. This was booked for only two people but can easily accommodate more/larger families and all could comfortably stay and sleep. The house is very spacious. I am local to the area but wanted to book for family visiting. Will absolutely be on the lookout because this place goes quickly - and rightfully so! It’s a gem! Wonderful stay at this peaceful, beautiful lake house. The hosts were great in all communication and prep for our stay. Very accommodating and sincere. Response times were fast and thoughtful. Jenny was an amazing host and her husband Wesley was the cherry on top. Incredibly helpful and hospitable. They even invited me to have thanksgiving dinner with them! So cozy, it feels like a home that’s lived in, not a hotel or a commercial space. It’s a warm and loving HOME.

The view of the lake was amazing. She was very quick to respond if there was anything needed. I loved the recommendations that she sent over. We overall had a wonderful experience!

What a wonderful stay! Bee was so responsive and hospitable, and shared so much local information to make the best of my family trip. Bee’s home was truly a home away from home. It was stocked with all the essentials and more, and very spacious for my family of 5. Very clean, and had no issues at all. There was a grill and fire pit available for our use as well. The lake and beach were all very accessible as well, and Bee had plenty of beach passes available for us to use. All in all an unforgettable experience, a short summer trip my family will never forget. We will definitely come back!

Great cozy spot to visit family, with easy access to restaurants, shopping, and the highway. The apartment has a private entrance from the main house and has everything one would need for a stay.

We had a wonderful three-month stay here at the lake. The setting was beautiful and Elmir was a fantastic host. I especially liked watching the people enjoying the lake when it was frozen over, and the Buffleheads and other diving ducks after the ice was gone.

I only stayed for a night, but it was perfect. The bed was hella comfortable seriously one of the best night’s sleep I’ve had in a while. Pauline also went the extra mile and provided water and snacks, which was super clutch after a long day. Everything was clean, cozy, and easy. Would definitely stay again if I’m in the area!

WOW! Could not have been a more perfect stay! The setting was so beautiful, serene and peaceful. We had lot's of activity paddle boarding, kayaking, BBQing! Most of the time we were the only people on the lake. Early June was a perfect time to be there. It was just such a gorgeous and relaxing setting. The house was fabulous for our family reunion and ideal for our adventurous 1 year old. Our host was simply amazing. He had items delivered to our door when we had questions...even sent us a bag of groceries to make Smores on the lake! We hope to make this an annual event! We'll definitely be back.

The house felt very homey, I stayed here with a total of five people including myself. We took advantage of the basement lounge space as well as the fire pit outside in the backyard. Overall, it’s an amazing getaway spot and I’d love to stay here again.

Our 2nd stay with this host. They are so caring & go above & beyond to make sure our stay is great. The house is super cute & very spacious. It’s very quiet & the huge yard is not only gorgeous but the perfect size for our dog. I wish I would have remembered there is a great big jacuzzi. I book my trip to Cold Spring around their availability. I highly recommend!!

Stayed for a long weekend with my wife and two dogs. Cottage was comfortable and clean with an amazing view of the lake with a nice patio and access to the dock which we enjoyed. Also great location just a bit over an hour from the city but within a 15 minute drive to many great hikes and close to many great food options. Tony was also very responsive and helpful with recommendarions. Highly recommend.

The cottage was inviting and enabled family time around the fireplace. The kitchen was well equipped with everything in good working condition. The master bedroom was warm and comfortable. The bathroom suitable. The walk down to the lake, as described in the listing, was a favorite. Watching the sunset over the water was memorable and gave a nice photo op.

My husband and I stayed at Kevin’s place for a couple days in early June for a quick city getaway. Kevin was super responsive from the beginning all the way to check out and was a pleasure to communicate with! He is a fascinating well-travelled host with lots of cool souvenirs around the cabin from his travels and sports accomplishments. His place was very relaxing and was exactly what we were looking for with its lake front access and cosy interior. We travel for work and are constantly staying in nice hotels, and we had the most amazing sleeps in the memory foam bed with sheepskin duvet and agreed it was better than any hotel sleep we had recently. So peaceful! We canoed to a Mexican restaurant across the river for lunch which was a fun mini adventure and very delicious! When we checked out we got to meet Bodie, Kevins Golden Retriever that is in the listing photos. Was an awesome experience! We look forward to returning sometime back to Kevin’s Cabin!

Barbara is a fantastic and welcoming host, and the cottage is really wonderful. The perfect spot for a winter weekend, I can't recommend Barbara's place highly enough!

Loved our stay at Sam’s place! Not only is the outdoor area serene and peaceful, but the indoor spaces reflect the same. Spent a weekend here recently and we were floored by the design, location and overall vibe of the place. Can’t wait to stay again!
