Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Pavones

Paz Corcovado is a magical place, and Roberto a great host, mega attentive and helpful. 5 surf lovers we arrived with high expectations, looking for good waves and wanting to rest and disconnect a few days from the daily routine in the middle of the jungle, and we ended up living an unforgettable experience. The house is super spacious and practical, no luxuries but with everything you need, and it is literally immersed in the jungle. It is located in a very quiet area 10 minutes by car from the main surf points, and has private access to Sombrero beach, where, on days of good swell, fun waves for all levels enter.

It felt as if I was taken care of my own family at this home! The pets are super loving and the location is perfect if you’re looking for a short drive to surf. Perfect spot to reset and nourish both mind and body!

We loved our stay here! Silvina is great and immediately met us upon arrival. The house is super cute and has everything one needs to be comfortable. The beds are comfortable with nice fans to keep cool at night and we enjoyed the complete kitchen to make all of our meals. The outdoor seating area was our favorite spot to hang and have all of our meals. We loved being able to see all of the incredible wildlife right from the house...monkeys, scarlet macaws, tons of birds and more. The beach is right out front and we enjoyed hearing the sounds of the waves in the background. Silvina is a wonderful hostess and makes you feel right at home and welcome. We loved it here and are already looking forward to staying here again on our next trip back down to this special area. Thank you for everything!

Moshe and Gato were incredible hosts and I immediately felt at home. Surf House couldn't be better located. Literally the best location in town and right in front of the wave. Room was super clean and had a beautiful cabin vibe inside. Comfortable bed, air conditioning, wifi, and a beautiful view outside. Plenty of restaurants nearby and Moshe has great recommendations if you want to explore further away. Can't wait to come back!

Easy location to get by car or cab. Very clean and comfortable. Edwin was extremely respectful and responsive.

Esteban's place is perfect for me because I love living close to nature and his house is the last one at the end of the road surrounded by jungle. I love hearing and looking at all the wildlife. I love the walk to the beach down the jungle pathway. I like living in a place where there is no drinking and partying going on. if you want to be close to grocery stores and restaurants then this might not be the best place for you.

Great place in Pavones! Only a couple of minutes from the wave. La Pina is really good food and right next door. Eric is awesome! He'll help you with anything you need. Lots of space, plenty of beds, good A/C. Top spot for a surf trip 🤙

We had an excellent stay. The beds were very comfortable which has been not super common for us in CR. The wifi was great as my husband and I were both working. The host was very kind and welcoming. We were pleasantly surprised the bugs were minimal for being so open air. The birds were amazing. The lookout point is beautiful. They were kind and flexible about late checkout for us. The host even took time to take us to the waterfall and natural jacuzzi on the property. He taught us about all the different kinds of trees. Mary was great as well. We hope to make it back to stay here again!

Jonathan's place was one of the most amazing stays I've had. The house is wonderful, and the area is beautiful. Jonathan is a fantastic host! He took us horseback riding, on waterfall hikes, and out on his boat to a beautiful, secluded beach and mangrove tour! We could not have asked for a better trip or host. We will definitely be back and would recommend Jonathan’s place to anyone! Thanks so much Jonathan!!

We loved the place, it's very cozy, both Miley and Eduard were very attentive to us, and were always ready to help us in everything. If you are looking for disconnect from the city and being in contact with nature and animals, this is the place, we loved the place, it is a little remote from the center, but it is beautiful. The house itself has a couple of maintenance things that can be improved, but overall everything was excellent

A very nice place, rarely is there as much tranquility as there is in Vilma's accommodation.

Landis Reserve is truly where the earth meets the heavens. With stunning scenery, diverse wildlife and nature this place has all the amenities anyone could ask for. Hummingbirds greeted me as I enjoyed my morning coffee while Toucans and other parrots passed overhead. Flowers are everywhere here, which I took as many pictures of as possible on my DSLR. I was even so lucky as to get pictures of monkeys feeding on oranges in the tree. The morning’s view with the sun peaking over the mountains was worth the early start, followed by the brightly lit sky at night showing off more stars than I’ve seen in a long time. It was so nice to enjoy the fresh air and smells of the plants and flowers. The trails throughout the property were well maintained, allowing for hiking to see the rivers and water falls. More great pictures! The food was always prepared fresh daily and was simply delicious. I even got to spend time in the kitchen with Maria as she prepared some meals. Maria would explain what each of the foods were, how they were grown and how they were prepared to be best enjoyed. Fried Plantain, Roasted Caco and a Flan that was to die for. So add cooking classes to the list too! Marietta was not only a gracious host, but a mix of historian and tour guide all wrapped in one often telling about the history of Panama and of the places to see while on my travels. She has done some amazing things in the creation of this reserve, is dedicated to teaching of conservation, green initiatives and creating a place where people can come see firsthand what is possible. She leads by example and is an encouragement to others to appreciate nature and in hopes they will do the same. I would highly recommend staying here, one of the best places in my many many travels throughout the world.
