A casa é excelente, exatamente como na descrição e nas fotos, estava muito limpa e organizada. A cozinha tem muitos utensílios e eletrodomésticos excelentes, uma das mais equipadas que já aluguei. Meredith nos recebeu muito bem e foi extremamente atenciosa e cordial. Recomendo e espero voltar mais vezes!

The Coconut Shakk is a magical birders paradise and Patti was an amazing host. From the moment we arrived we fell in love with the house and property. It had all the modern conveniences and also offered anything you could want to relax and unwind. The deck has amazing views of the ocean and beautiful yard, the outdoor kitchen and seating areas were wonderfully designed and a great place to hang out and the yoga platform was an amazing space. Doing yoga while watching Scarlet Macaws and Toucans was the icing on the cake. The beach is a quick drive or you can also walk. We actually had a hard time prying ourselves away from the deck to do anything else. If you are a bird lover this is the property to pick. We absolutely loved our stay and cannot stress enough how perfect this property was and how wonderful Patti was from our first inquiry and throughout our time there. Thank you Patti for sharing your slice of paradise with us!

The house is amazing, with nature all around. You can shower outdoors while listening to the creek or have a bathtub and relax to the sound of the rain in the forest.  The kitchen had all the utensils we needed to cook delicious meals.  I loved the layout, so everybody can hang out while you’re cooking. The beds were comfortable and the AC great. The host was very responsive to any questions we had.

This was an extraordinary experience; one of our favorite spaces and trips that we have ever had. The nature is unbeatable. Monkeys and macaws are your close neighbors. The jungle is home, and the energy it provides is nurturing and deeply spiritual. The layout of the house is spacious and open. The beach is private and a beautiful 5 minute walk. Michael is a very responsive host. If you're looking for a peaceful oasis in the heart of Osa, don't miss booking Casa Sombrero.

Walker was extremely helpful and very responsive both before our trip and during our stay. I had my parents with me who are a bit older and they felt very comfortable and safe at the house! Couldn’t recommend enough, we will be back!!

We had a great time in Pavones. Karla's place was perfect, clean, organized, and just the most beautiful outside space full of nature. Karla and Meridith were the most kind, and their communication was quick and super helpful. they gave us great directions to get there and awesome recommendations about what to do and where to eat in the area. The house is very safe and the neighbors were super nice. It's also at a great location, near the point but also immersed into the jungle. we saw a lot of beautiful butterflies, the backyard sloth and a lot of pretty birds, just from their deck outback. We only have great things to say about them and their home. Highly recommended, and we can't wait to go back!! Pura Vida! 💚

A beautiful jungle beach retreat! Spent three nights with my wife and two boys (ages 9 & 11) and we enjoyed everything about our stay. First, the surroundings… we were at the edge of the jungle with ocean and surf views. We could go back and forth between watching macaws and surfers while enjoying the amenities of the place (great setup for shaded meals). It is a true paradise with the sounds of waves constant given the proximity to the ocean. We were able to take nice walks in the neighborhood and choose from multiple surf breaks. Second, the hospitality… Ted was great to communicate with before booking, up to our visit, and while we were there. He setup some in-house cooking with a cook (who taught us about making local cuisine) as well as provided all sorts of advice about activities and the area. Loved our stay!

It is a location surround by nature! I saw monkeys and toucans during my stay. The location is very solid for the price. The home itself is very nice with all you need. The only thing is you will have to deal with bugs, like most of Costa Rica, but especially at night if lights are on because of the area.

This place is AMAZING !!! me and my five friends just stayed there and we had the most fun !! Aside from the cuties puppies that live there and the 30 second walk to the beach , the host+family, Collin is so friendly and gave us great advice on food and fun while in pavones. We will definitely be coming back and making our trip longer to really relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. Very very sad we had to leave this place !

Absolutely amazing this home is! For a surfer it’s heaven. Located near the point at Pavones it’s a short walk to an easy paddle out at the point and let the current take you the length of the wave. Also centrally located where you either walk across the river or bridge to the local town center or market and few restaurants that are in town. Loved the random dog showing up to say hi too! The property is like a jungle setting. Gorgeous! The home was big enough for my teenagers and young adult kids to roam around and feel at home. The rooms and bathrooms were very clean as well! The kitchen was perfect using gas rather than electric portable stoves too. There also was an outdoor bbq which we used almost everyday. When in the jungle surfing all day it was an absolute joy to cool off in the pool! Overall an amazing stay at this paradise of a home!!! If it’s available this sanctuary will be top of my list of places to stay in Pavones!!! Paraiso Pura vida!!!!!!!!!

Magical and thoughtfully designed spaces in a tranquil area away from the surf crowd but just a short drive away from more populous areas if you wish. Yoga deck is perfect and looks out to Golfo Dulce so you can listen to waves as you flow. 💯% recommend.

We found a Gem in the Famous Surf Town of Pavones :) Villa Cocoon is a delightful place just 7 min walk to the Wave. Beautiful Interior design with everything you need to spend the weekend or longer stays. We have been waiting for a place like this in Pavones for a long time 🙌🏻

We absolutely loved our stay here. It was the perfect place to unwind and truly be together as a family. The animal life was incredible. We woke up to monkeys in the morning and playing throughout the day just outside the house. Both john and Oscar were super helpful and friendly. And if you have a chance to have Jackson’s cook- she was incredible. If you’re in for a rustic, full of nature, full family time then this is your place! Also don’t miss out on scheduling a horseback ride with Carlos at finca tropical! It surpassed our expectations and my husband used to guide horseback rides in Colorado. Enjoy the time together and this charming place in Cabo matopalo!

CasaZenn is a gem! We were very glad to be up at CasaZenn rather than right on the beach in Zancudo. It was so peaceful to retreat to the beautiful gardens, pool, and view of the ocean after playing at the beach or exploring the area. Tom and Hollie were super responsive and helpful! We had a few hiccups during our stay, (like an unusually long power outage) and they did everything they could do make sure we had what we needed. They also connected us with horseback riding and snorkeling tours within hours of asking. Both of which were wonderful! We saw dolphins in the bay and rode horses through the forest, hilltops, and beach. The highlight of CasaZenn is the attraction of surrounding nature. The mornings are incredible. Birdsong, howler monkeys, capuchins, and BUTTERFLIES! I have never seen so many butterflies, it feels like you are in a sanctuary. We also saw toucans, green parrots, macaws, and a sloth. The poolside is lovely morning, afternoons, or under the stars. 🦋

A++++++ Location and BEAUTIFUL house with pool just steps away from the world class surf break at Pavones!! We absolutely LOVED this spot! What is not to love?!? Impossible to get a better location or a more beautiful home in Pavones. A+++++++ on all levels!! Thankk you!! We will be back again soon!!

Nos encanto la ubicación ya que a tan solo 3 minutos caminando se podia a llegar a playa Langostino (la casa está casi en frente de la olaya), todo estaba super limpio realmente 10/10 en este tema, el lugar es bastante espacioso en los alrededores de la casa, el internet funcionó bastante bien y tiene lo necesario para una estancia de máximo 4 personas.

Our stay in Tzika's home was enjoyable to say the least. Being situated just outside of town provides the opportunity for privacy and peace, as well as seeing some beautiful birds that prefer to stay deeper in the jungle. Furnished with three comfortable beds, and a couch that can also double as a bed, the house provides plenty of accommodation. Combine that with a fully functional kitchen, it allows the ability to play house and have a place of sanctuary during your stay in Pavones.

La cabaña es perfecta para desconectarse y relajarse. Muy acogedora, rodeada de naturaleza y a solo 15 minutos de Playa Zancudo. Todo estaba limpio y bien cuidado. ¡Una excelente experiencia!

We Stayed at Casa Escondida with the family. It was a lovely experience. Right next to the beautiful beach of backwash. The house was beautiful and clean, with 2 big bedrooms each with their own bathrooms. The kitchen was a little small, but it balanced well with having the upper deck to enjoy having food in the outdoors. We saw monkeys, armadillos, toucans and more right next to the house! The manager there, Doña Irma and her husband were super sweet and took really good care of us. There is another house right next to Casa Escondida, Casa Luz, they were doing a yoga retreat there and it was calm and peaceful and we didn't feel at all bothered by being close. There was good natural separation with the landscaping. And yeah... the beach 25 steps away is priceless.

Joe is a great host. Thoughtful and kind. The house is in a great spot and really spacious and beautiful

This is an amazing Air BnB. Luxurious and extremely spacious accommodation set in a veritable Garden of Eden. This is a very private location with spectacular views. Both the wildlife and bird life are spectacular. Access to the property is quite demanding. You definitely need a 4x4 and you definitely want to make use of the in-house catering. Ivan is a very good and a very flexible chef. Most of our party are vegetarian and teetotal. Ivan, supported by Marjorie, provided an excellent range of meals throughout the week and an inventive selection of fruit juices to drink.

I highly recommend this place for anyone coming to Pavones and any group of people. The terrace is a great chilling place and the picture accurately depict the entire space. The host was super friendly and helpful from the first day to make us feel right at home. Can’t wait to be back!
