A place like this is not often encountered on Airbnb. A log cabin over 130 years old in the heritage landscape of Suvio takes its residents on a time trip to a 19th-century hut village. The property is best suited for a lover of Lapland's nature, history, and silence, who is not afraid of the dark in winter and no mosquitoes in the summer. Please note: there is no public transportation to the village, no toilet in the main building, nor a shower. There is a separate sauna building outside and a traditional outhouse behind the sauna.

The cottage has original charm, with new beautiful decor. Great kitchen. You can sleep downstairs or in the loft. The ladder to the loft is steep. The cottage has wifi, a 43’ TV, and a bluetooth connection on the radio. The open fireplace is not in use. The cabin has a good sauna, washing machine and drying cabinet. Linens and final cleaning are included.

Lapland Tunturi Lodge ski in, sauna, National Park

Good vibrations and great ambience in this true ski in ski out lodge in the hearth of authentic Pyhä. Tunturi Lodge is located only 50 m from the slopes and ski trails. Restaurants, grocery store and Naava Nature Center are all within 250 m, the national parks and wilderness are practically outside the door. The log cottage has one sofabed downstairs, an open bedroom upstairs and a private, newly renovated sauna. No big roads nearby. Possibility to rent our 7 neighbour lodges (max 31 persons).

Riverside Dream Apartment

Welcome to enjoy your holiday in Rovaniemi and be our guest. Cozy 50m2 apartment of a familyhouse by a river: Kitchen, livingroom with sleeping loft, bathroom, balcony, underground sauna and jacuzzi (extra price), barbecue and parking place. There are four beds (one double and two singles) and if necessary baby's bed. Apartment is located in a peacefull familyhouse area and it takes 5 min drive and 20 min walk to city center. Supermarket is very close also (2 min drive and 10 min walk).

Charming cottage with all the amenities on a large plot. The distance to the center of Rovaniemi is only about 25 km. The distance to Santa Claus Village or the airport is also about 25 km. No public transport. The roads are well maintained even in winter. The cottage is easy to get to. If you wish, transportation can be arranged by Mercedes Benz Vito car for an additional fee. Riekonsop, two-bedroom cottage in Pyhä.

Welcome to a wonderful holiday in Riekonsoppe, at the foot of Pyhätunturi. The cottage is in a quiet area, but close to services and hiking trails. In winter, you are close to ski trails, ski slopes and downhill terrain. Pyhän Pohjoisrinteet are only 1 km away and Luosto is less than 20 km away. In spring, summer and autumn, you can go directly from the cottage to the hiking trails of Pyhä-Luosto National Park.

The naturally beautiful Kemijoki beach is about an hour's drive from Rovaniemi, 65 km towards Kuusamo. I recommend renting a car. Fully equipped 75 m2 cottage with two bedrooms, kitchen, sauna, bathroom, porch and terrace. There is a beach near the cottage (about 700 m). Opportunities for snowmobiling, fishing, berry picking and hunting, as well as hiking. There is a boat launch about 1.2 km away.

This traditional Finnish cottage is located by the Lake Norvajärvi 15 km from the center of Rovaniemi and 10 km from the airport. We have renovated the cottage in summer and fall 2019&2022 for your better use. Here you can feel the Finnish cottage culture and enjoy the peace of nature and silence. If the weather is good for the Northern lights and you want to see them this is the place.
