Welcome to Piilopirtti, an atmospheric log cabin on the Arctic Circle, on the shores of Lake Kemijärvi, just 7 km from Suomutunturi. The cottage is located on a large plot of land and has spacious views of the lake and the surrounding landscape. From the village you can take the ferry to a beautiful sandy beach. The starting point of the ski trails is 2 km away, but you can go straight from the yard to the lake ice to ski. For fishermen, Lake Kemijärvi offers abundant catches. Cloudberries, blueberries and lingonberries are waiting for pickers right at the corner of the cabin.

We offer accommodation in connection with our cottage on the beautiful shores of Lake Kemijärvi. The price of the accommodation includes the use of a sleeping barn, a separate kitchen cabin, a sauna and an outdoor toilet. The cottage is located 12 km from the center of Kemijärvi. The log cabin has beds for two. Electricity + heating. Well-equipped kitchen. No running water. The hosts take care of the drinking water in the kitchen. Fireplace. Washing in the sauna, the use of the sauna is agreed with the hosts. The hosts use the other buildings on the premises.

Accommodation for 3, up to 5 beds for those sleeping in their own sleeping bags. The kitchenette has a hot plate, microwave, refrigerator, kettle, toaster and dishes (glasses, mugs, plates, coffee presses, cutlery, etc.). There are showers in the adjacent beach sauna. The beautiful surroundings offer wonderful outdoor opportunities - the ski trail to the nearby hills starts from the yard, the adjacent lake allows ice fishing, in the summer you can hike and pick berries in the nearby hills, a rowing boat is waiting on the school beach. Authentic Countryhouse at the Reindeer Farm

Welcome to the wild isolation of Eastern Lapland! This country house, built in the 70s, has served as the main building of a reindeer farm, a loving home, grandma’s place, and a shelter for a bunch of cats, dogs, and motherless reindeer babies. Decades have given this house a unique character. It is located between a fish-filled pond and the River Luiro. A small village shop is approximately 2 km away. Massive reindeer herd sightings and hangouts are guaranteed in the wintertime!

House has been separated into two apartments for our guests. This A apartment has room for 5 person. One king size bed with window view and second twin bed with one bed upper as bunk bed. The house is being fully renovated and reopened for season 2023.
