Picturesque cottage with the sea as your only neighbor!

Want a simple moment without the modern amenities, like running water? Here, life is still and close to nature. Fire in the wood sauna, warm yourself up by the fireplace and let the days go. The cottage is about 50 sqm with kitchen/living room, bedroom, a generous loft and large terrace. The plot's perhaps best view can be found in the outhouse located just behind the cabin. Down by the sea, there is a sheltered jetty if you want to get to Lunsberg with your own boat or just swim after the sauna.

At our farmhouse Mattas in Finby, Sund, we can offer a rural and cozy accommodation with 4 beds (two single beds and a sofa bed). It is an apartment from the 50s that we have carefully renovated to keep the old-fashioned feel. On the farm there are many different animals (cows, horses, chickens and sheep) and our farm dairy (Mattas Gårdsmejeri), as well as a farm shop with the farm's and some other Åland products. During July and the first half of August, we open a café during the day.

A small cosy house from the 1890s in the countryside. The house has a combined kitchen/living room, two bedrooms, bathroom/wc and hall. Both bedrooms have two beds. In addition there is a sofa-bed in the living room. The compact bathroom has shower cabin, washbasin and wc. Sheets and towels are included. The house has a yard with a BBQ-grill, outdoor furniture and parking space. Distance to Bomarsund and Kastelholm is about 6 km. Welcome!

Åland,Healthy charming house near Kastelholm/Bomarsund

The cottage ( Fridhem), which was originally a baker's cottage, was moved from a small village to the current location in the 50s, when it was also converted to the current house. The cottage is located at country road 2, in between Kastelholm and Bomarsund, approx. 5 km in each direction. Bus stop is close, 25 km to Mariehamn. There are bike paths outside the knot, beautiful forest roads as well. Check out my guide for tips.

The cottage is located on/right by the sea, still only 6km from the city center. On the 2nd floor you find the bedroom, kitchen/living room and a big balcony. On the 1st floor we have a bathroom, shower and a comfortable sauna with an extraordinary sea view. During the winter the cottage is closed when it’s very cold. Please note that from Oktober to March the rowing boat and kayaks we will not be available for you to use.

The house, built in 1949, is in a quiet area. Terrace with morning sun and water views. Large yard. The decor is like a home with everything that is needed, porcelain, books, in addition there is a sauna. We enjoy our house and would love to share.
