Waterfront holiday rentals in Pend Oreille River

Great place to stay for a quiet getaway with my husband. Quiet and peaceful, yet just 10 minutes from downtown CDA restaurants, parks & shops. The apartment was clean and comfortable, with windows on all walls to see the beauty outside. We enjoyed sitting in the gazebo watching the sun go down and the boats go by. Katherine was always available to help with any questions and local recommendations.

We had a girls weekend getaway in Sandpoint. This was the perfect location with restaurants and cute shops all within walking distance. And, it was so spacious in the accommodation—room to spread out and relax in different spaces. As others have mentioned in reviews, there’s noise from trains and from cars in front of the building, and a little bit of light music coming from the restaurant downstairs. Nothing that bothered us or would keep us from wanting to stay here again. All in all, a great place to stay and tastefully renovated old building.

Quaint little spot in a tiny little town. The old school “motel” is unassuming from the outside. Once you step inside the magic happens. Gorgeous and well appointed two bedroom that served our family well. It can be tight on space with two young daughters but the room contained our planned 3 weeks of road tripping great. We were in town to do the Hiawatha bike trail and enjoyed a few great meals while here. Definitely recommend checking out neighboring town Wallace for shops and dining and don’t forget the Outlaw just up the street from the Airbnb for great burgers after a long day of exploring. Would return in a heartbeat.

Satisfied with the stay, the only issue was one of the bedroom entrances was thru the bathroom, so if someone was using the bathroom than we either had to wait in the bedroom or in the living room

Carly was a wonderful, responsive and accommodating host. We would certainly stay in her cozy place again!

We booked a girls weekend here for a relaxing girls trip before my friend’s wedding and it was absolutely wonderful. Beautiful view with lots to do and see, and if there’s any questions, David and Laura are super responsive and helpful! Directions and rules are super clear and it’s very clean and tidy. We had a great weekend and 10/10 would stay again!

To anyone who wants a peaceful get away but yet so close to the city, shopping, activities, sight seeing, etc. you must stay here! No matter a group of people or just for two it’s the spot indeed! Especially if you love wildlife passing through, or if you want to go down to the river and catch a rainbow trout. Highly recommend and will be staying again.

This is one of the most amazing properties we’ve ever stayed in. The view is amazing and having a private beach is next level. Its in kind of a little inlet area with only 5 or so other homes. We kayaked around the lake and rented a boat one day, both were so much fun and this area is perfect for it. We went swimming in the lake every single day. The fire pit is also great. The house was very clean and a starter kit of toiletries, dish soap, and laundry soap were provided. There were lots of towels. Plenty of nice soft blankets were provided also. The memory foam mattresses were great, this is the first rental I’ve had a sleep better than in my own home! Upstairs there's a loft area where our 3 kids stayed (ages 16, 5, and 2). The hosts really went the extra mile and selected quality furniture both inside and out of this property. Parking was easy, getting to standpoint was easy. There are so many things to do in this town we can't wait to come back! Communication was amazing too.

We loved our stay here at Allison’s home. This was more like a B&B experience and Alli is an amazing host that goes out of her way to help you feel at home, relaxed and comfortable while still giving you total privacy. The accommodations are beautiful and comfortable. Great water pressure, lovely den and kitchen area, fast internet and great TV options. We loved the hot tub and sauna. A must if you visit- indulge! Honestly, we wished we had booked more time here as it was the most relaxed we had been our entire trip. We will plan to come back when we visit Idaho again in a few months without a doubt. Don’t hesitate to book your time here. You will be glad you did!!

Our stay was absolutely lovely. The lake and views are breath taking. The home was well equipped with everything you need for your home away from home stay. Kitchen products, board games, linens and more. The master bed was so soft, like a big hug. So cozy. The fresh air breeze from the lake at night that came through the windows, was so nice. We did not need to use the AC. The house was big enough for two families. We had a total of 8 people, lots of room. Just perfect. Michele was very friendly and easy to communicate with. The neighbours on both sides, were very nice. Everyone was respectful of the quiet hours. We would love to stay here again. Thank you for having us!

What a gem! It’s really amazing to stay in a place where such a beautiful lake view just surrounds you! It’s new, and the design really does feel luxury. Jackie and her husband were great hosts and had plenty of local recs, including for dog-friendly places. Highly recommend!

A rustic, serene, and clean spot to spend a few days! We enjoyed the location and the short walk to the dock. Everything was as described, and our favorite part was the kayak and toys in the shed and relaxing mornings sipping coffee on the porch. You can't beat the sunrise with the turkeys gobbling and bald eagles soaring above. Thank you for sharing this spot with others!

Fantastic Location. wake to the beauty of Sandcreek and marina outside your door. You can walk to endless food and entertainment options. Condo was clean, well furnished and very comfortable. When visiting Sandpoint, this will always be a place we seek out.

Great location, can walk to town and best of all, to the beach. Can enjoy the beach and waves from room and deck. Condo was stocked pretty good. Would rent again!

The best AirBnb I’ve ever stayed at. Exceeded my expectations. Great location, very clean, well-appointed, cozy, with the most incredible floor to ceiling waterfront views. I loved having coffee on the balcony overlooking the river and the convenience of walking down to the restaurants downstairs. Appreciated the thoughtful personal touches and unique tasteful art and decor and premium bedding and towels which made it feel like a home away from home. Excellent communication with host. 10 out of 10. I checked out today and I’m already thinking of booking my return visit.

This is the second time we’ve stayed at Condo del Sol. This unit was clean, very well stocked and provided lots of extras like a pack and play, sound machines, kayaks, tennis rackets and extra towels. We used the pool daily, it was never too busy even on a long holiday weekend. Location is walkable to the city beach, restaurants and shopping. Will definitely look for this unit when we return next summer.

Our condo was right on the water. We used the kayaks one morning, and the unit was just right for two people. I snore, so slept on the sofa couch and my husband used the bedroom. The sofa bed was the most comfortable sofa bed I've ever slept on! Overall, great deal and very close to everything in Sandpoint. Just know that you have to get out of your car and put the code for the unit into the gate to get into the parking lot for the unit.

We had a wonderful stay and was a great base camp for visiting Silver Mountain. The whole place was super clean. The apartment is right by the freeway but the noise was not an issue. Note, there is another rental above this Airbnb. The full kitchen was awesome for cooking our own meals. The hot tub was fun too. Overall, I recommend this place!

It faces the old powerhouse on the bay— A perfect scene to start your day. Paula’s a pro, she runs it tight. Everything’s handled, everything’s right. No nonsense. No stress. A host you can trust, Responsive, respectful, and incredibly just. We stayed a while, and left with a grin— Didn’t want to leave once we’d settled in. Highly recommend it—don’t hesitate. This is the kind of place that makes vacations great.
