La Vida Island Guesthouse

La Vida Isla is a quiet, shady retreat from the beach. This is a place to unwind and relax. We are in a safe neighborhood on Roanoke Island. The cottage is an airy and calming space. We take great strides to make sure it is super clean and well maintained. Our goal is to provide a space for complete relaxation. The cottage and outdoor spaces are very private. There is a patio area with outdoor seating as well as a screened porch. Listen to the wind chimes and birds. Enjoy the flowers.

We have created this cottage as a place for couples, remote workers, small families or friends seeking a unique space unwind. Peaceful airy retreat (on half acre lot) with balcony views overlooking the tallest active sand dune system in the Eastern U.S. Take a 2-3 minute stroll, you’ll discover the sound beach and beach trails. Cross the street and climb to the top of Jockey Ridge for amazing ocean views, hang glide or fly a kite. The ocean is just 1 minute car drive. Inside features 700 sq ft of privacy, including open-concept kitchen and living room, a private bedroom with 2 queen beds, and 2 Smart TVs.

Treefrog Tower offers a truly unique Outer Banks getaway, nestled in the trees of a private 9 acre pine forest on the border Jockey's Ridge State Park. You may literally walk out our driveway to 450 acres of hiking trails, sound-side beaches, kayaking, kiteboarding, etc. It's a 3-minute drive to the nearest beach access and some favorite local restaurants. The cozy location offers total privacy, facing into the woods with windows everywhere for lots of treetop filtered sunshine.
