Location was perfect! You can see the badlands park right from the property. Amy and Phil were very friendly and good hosts. Even the dogs were very welcoming. I would definitely recommend this place and come back if I’m ever in the area.

Petite Cabin 22 - No Bathroom

JohnRating, 5 stars22 months ago
My fiancé stayed in a mini cabin for one night. Number 22 if I remember correctly. The cabin was great for two, great stay for the price. It had two twin beds and a window ac unit that made the room so cold we had to turn it down haha. The restroom was located a short walk from the room and showers are right there. The restaurant has amazing food and very affordable. I would highly recommend this place to anyone!

Pioneer at Wickiup Cabins

AshleyRating, 5 stars10 months ago
We stayed four nights in the Pioneer cabin. The campground is beautiful. The creek is very pretty and peaceful to sit by. Family friendly with a playground area and a fun scavenger hunt. Cabin can get hot during the afternoon but we were out enjoying all the Black Hills had to offer so that didn't bother us. It cools off quick for the perfect sleeping temperature. It's right off the highway so you can hear some traffic at times but was not bad or disruptive. Clean and comfortable space. Hosts were great. We would definitely love to return if we are in the area again. The Spearfish Canyon scenic byway turn off is less than a mile from the campground and is a great drive with waterfalls, wildlife and places to explore.

Mirror Cabin in the Black Hills

CarlyRating, 5 stars1 week ago
This was by far our favorite stay that we have had with Airbnb. The cabin is located with an amazing view that we enjoyed from bed in the mornings. It is private enough to not worry about other people, but not so much that it is too hard to find! We hope to be back in the future!

Secluded Black Hills Studio Cabin Near Crazy Horse

CarrieRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We loved this cabin. So many thoughtful touches. First time to SD & loved the area. Mount Rushmore, Crazy Horse, Custer State Park, Needles Highway & walking the town. The chuck wagon ride & dinner from Blue Bell Lodge was so much fun! Highly recommend for your visit to the Black Hills. Only negative for us is that we’d prefer a shower & not a tub/shower due to difficulty getting in & out of a tub.

The Farmhouse Cottage (studio home)

RyneRating, 5 stars6 months ago
They were accommodating and friendly. We would love to come back. House rules could be updated because it seems like a great spot for a wedding, but there was some confusion with check in and check out, but figured it out pretty easily assuming things are different for the cottage based on proactive communication from our hosts.

New! Shipping Container House by Custer State Park

TessRating, 5 stars1 week ago
My husband and I had a great time staying 4 nights in the Shipping Container Tiny Home at the Tiny Bison Resort! The place was perfect for us! The location was so quiet, peaceful and a great central location to enjoy everything the Black Hills has to offer. It rained every day we were there so we spent most evenings relaxing under the cover up the upper deck and taking advantage of cooking for ourselves in the kitchen and on the grill. We loved seeing deer run and relax in the field behind the resort every night. Although the place is “tiny” it didn’t feel like it. Thomas was great at communicating and offering suggestions for local food and entertainment. Overall, we had a fantastic vacation and would stay here again whenever we make it back to the Black Hills. I highly recommend staying at one of Thomas’ tiny homes!

EricRating, 5 stars8 months ago
Enjoyed my peaceful stay in the teeny home. Great location in the hills. Quiet and private compared to many other rental cabins in the area. Home has everything you need for one person or a couple. Tricia was a great host and very responsive when I had an issue. Will stay again.

Hobbit Hole: Needle Spire Views + Firepit + Sauna

AmberRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We went there for a last vacation with my Mom as her memory is slipping fast. She couldn’t stop saying how much she loved the cabin! It was her favorite part of every around there! It’s centrally located to so much to do. Absolutely beautiful and the 1st time my son put his line in the water, he caught a fish! We took advantage of the amazing amenities! The Sauna was such a great touch with a view of the needle spires. I would love to come back again! You won’t be disappointed. Also, Trystin is a great host! Very responsive and I felt Totally at home.

Centrally Located In the Black Hills! Cabin #422

RichardRating, 5 stars11 months ago
Great stay. Hosts were very gracious and warm. Cabins are on their farm, plenty of opportunities for our daughters to interact with goats, cows, etc. Cabins are very clean, and we enjoyed the delicious farm fresh chicken and duck eggs. Location is a bit outside of Rapid City but equidistant to a number of local attractions. There is a great swimming area with diving cliffs near by. It is well water supplied but not a big deal to us. Over all, extremely satisfied.

Fire Lookout Tower Next to Custer State Park

ElizabethRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
The view is amazing, rain or shine. The bed is super comfortable and fun to watch tv in with the swivel tv. The kitchen is also ready to go to make meals in and spacious overall. I highly recommend this beautiful lookout tower! We didn’t use the outside amenities because it was so cold, but it was truly a short dream vacay. It was so amazingly quiet and peaceful at night.
