House holiday rentals in Penonomé District

Booked this gorgeous house for the weekend to celebrate my Mom’s birthday, and honestly, it couldn’t have been more perfect. The place was spotless, exactly like the photos, and in a lovely gated community that felt super safe. Just a short spin from the beach, and the amenities were absolutely class — everything we needed and more. Tatiana & Heyler were brilliant hosts, always quick to respond and really easy to deal with. We were even able to check out a bit later, which was a lovely bonus. Thanks again for helping make my Mom’s birthday so special — we had a beautiful stay. Would 100% recommend!

We had a fabulous time while staying at Eva’s. she was VERY responsive to all our questions and answered very promptly. We would definitely return in a heartbeat. LOVED every moment. Her place is very private, super clean, homey and spacious. highly recommend staying with her. the location was absolutely perfect for our golf adventures and close to restaurants, fresh fruit and vegetable market and a mini mart. We are very greatfull to have the house hold by such host. Juan is very fast and easy in communication. Very careful and ready to listen. Polite and understanding. Gardener is coming to take care after garden and rubbish. The location is very comfortable, especially very close to the main shop. Buses from the city stops very close. Great thanks to people who look after the house.

This place is wonderful! The location is perfectly located within the Buenaventura community. It’s walking distance to El Faro and Puntarenas pool / beach areas. To be honest, the pictures don’t do it justice! It’s a nice place! The bedrooms are separated nicely with comfortable beds. The kitchen is well equipped with pretty much anything needed to cook meals. They even had spices to work with which was nice! The furniture inside and outside on all levels was comfortable. Sofia was very responsive and accommodating to the 9 of us that stayed there. (5 adults 4 kids) Bottom line, we definitely would stay there again. If you’re on the fence, BOOK it! You won’t be sorry.

We had a great time at Claudia's, the house is large, the terrace is superb and we saw sloths there! The house is very well equipped but there is no washer or dryer. To compensate, Dario, the co-host with Claudia, paid for our laundry at a laundromat. Communication was a bit difficult because my Spanish is not very good and neither is her English. Thanks for a great week!

We booked Jose's place for a quiet weekend. The house is just as you can see in the listing. It has a tasty pool and jacuzzi with temperate water. Everything you need to cook and even barbecue. You can make use of the beach club that is only minutes away from the villa. We really liked the place, so I recommend it.

We had a really nice time at the place. The house has everything what you need and we felt like at home. We spent new year there with our children and they were so happy at this place. Beach is near and as a visitor you have a private parking and supermarket is just 5 min away. We would come back in the future. Thank you Jenny!

There's nothing like waking up to the sounds of the waves. Great location and next door to El Faro pools and beach bar. Beautiful home, clean and very spacious.

Our stay at Isaac’s house was excellent. The location is fantastic, just a few steps from Deli store and the Children’s Park, which made our experience even better. The house is spacious and comfortable. Additionally, the communication with Isaac was exceptional from the very beginning. He was always very attentive and responsive to any questions. We will definitely come back!

Beautiful home in Rio Hato. Backs right onto the beach. We enjoyed all areas of the house, in particular the outdoor patio and pool. Was very thankful Carlos was flexible with the check in time as we had small kids travelling with us. Great host.

“Tropical Oasis is a very cozy house, perfect to rest and enjoy the environment. The hosts were incredibly attentive and always willing to help. Although I initially requested hot water and they tried to install it without success, they offered me the option to cancel the reservation, which shows their commitment to an excellent experience for their guests. Finally, the hot water was not a problem and we really enjoyed our stay. I definitely recommend this place and will definitely be staying here again.”
