Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Penonomé District

This home was perfect! In a luxury, private peaceful gated community of Buenaventura. Home was exactly what we were looking for while celebrating our 25th anniversary. You can lounge by the backyard pool or walk 50 feet and play in the hotel pool! Very well stocked kitchen. Comfy beds and last but not least it always so reassuring to have a good host that you can rely on. Sandra and Esi were just that!

It was a joy and privilege to stay in Humberto’s home. Having booked the home for a last minute getaway with my family of 7, we were all surprised to find it so very beautiful, spacious, tasteful and clean. As a previous Airbnb Superhost and frequent user of Airbnb, my standards are relatively high and Humberto’s home exceeded my expectations.

Nuestra estadía en Amaia fue muy buena. La casa es tal como se describe: cómoda, bien equipada y ubicada a solo 10 minutos de Juan Hombrón y otras playas. La comunicación con Tatiana fue clara y efectiva en todo momento. Como único inconveniente, un corte de agua el sábado por varias horas. Sin embargo, entendemos que fue una situación ajena a la propiedad, relacionada con el sistema general del condominio y los tanques de agua, y se resolvió en el tiempo estimado. Para las personas que decidan pasar solo una noche, nos parece un poco tarde el check in a las 3 pm considerando que el check out sería 11 am del día siguiente Los aires acond funcionan muy bien lo cual para mi es vital ! Así mismo deliciosa la piscina y la fogata , fácil de usar . Muy bueno el bbq-ahumador. En general, excelente experiencia.

Excelente lugar, Juan Carlos súper amigable, fui con mi familia y nos fue excelente, volveré nuevamente, los recomiendo sin ninguna duda. Está en un punto céntrico, la casa y sus alrededores son preciosos, mucha vegetación y pudimos observar aves que nunca había visto en persona.

Muy bonito y limpio todo, recomendacion una piscina o jacuzzy como plus para la vivienda

Our stay at this house was wonderful! The house is well equipped and was comfortable for our family of 5. They are great hosts and easy to work with! We enjoyed visiting places in the Valley, and would love to return again one day!

We had a wonderful month here in April-May 2025. Follow the written AND photo pictures she provides the 1st time you try to get here - there is one turn that is confusing but her picture for that turn completely makes it clear. The kitchen is very well equipped. We especially appreciated the air fryer. The location is quiet. The people we have met are friendly. Massive couches were comfortable. House was in good repair. Large yard with fruit and other trees. The climate was great, we only needed the A/C sparingly especially with the pool. All of us (my wife, one of our adult children and our 4 younger kids 12,11,10 and 9) will return. Asados Fefa: tiny & tiny menu but great food at low cost &La Paradita Grill Restaurant (try their Chorizo Tableño) are worth going to though only open weekend evenings, there's a wonderful low cost panadaria a km away, though we never figured out what its hours were! Try the fruit/veggie vendors East of Rio Hato and West of Anton, lots of variety, low $

Janos fue súper atento y estuvo al pendiente de lo que le solicitáramos. Recomiendo el lugar, solamente que la zona de restaurantes es muy pequeña y no encontramos suficiente variedad, tuvimos que trasladarnos a buenaventura que tiene más opciones de comida, fuera de eso todo excelente

Estuve por motivos de negocios y un poco de turismo. El apartamento es mejor que en las fotos. Mi esposa y yo pasamos unos días muy cómodos. Tania siempre estuvo atenta y pendiente. Muy recomendado

We are repeated custumers, we love this place, on the beach, clean, it has all you need, it is a home away from home. I love cooking, this place has a kitchen with all you need to put a meal together. There is a big supermarked near by, it is located at about an hour from El Valle, if you are a hiker, then you can enjoy beautiful hike in el Valle and still stay at burmas and enjoy both the beach and the mountains for an amazing hike.

Fueron unos días, relajante cómodo apartamento para pasar unos días en familia, piscina y playa cerca. Restaurante, Súper etc. tiene todo lo que se necesita para estar tranquilos sin estrés de que algo falto. Buena comunicación de parte del anfitrión, volvería a este lugar me encanto

Lugar muy lindo y relajante, muy limpio, acceso al area social con piscina y hermosa playa. Fue una estancia muy agradable y a mi familiale encanto. La coordinacion muy fluida y clara para reservar y llegar. El servicio y la atencion por el personal in-situ muy diligente.

El apartamento es muy cómodo y su cocina es muy amplia. Hemos estado en otros lugares de Airbnb y este tiene las camas y las sábanas más cómodas, calidad de hotel. Apto para familias o grupos grandes. No tienes que moverte en auto para llegar al beach club, pues está cerquita, pero el ruido no llega al apartamento.

Excelente lugar muy cómoda las instalaciones y una comunicación super fluida con el anfitrión nos sentimos super seguro maravilloso para ir en familia intentaré ir de nuevo pues nos encantó gracias

Such a little treasure in Buenaventura. Will definitely book again. Very well stocked kitchen and so beautifully decorated. We really enjoyed calling this place home for a few nights!

An amazing place which for sure we will return to. Close to the beach, a great pool with nice staffing. Overall atmosphere was amazing and we really felt 'home' amongst the other guests.

El apartamento es fiel a las fotos. Espacios amplios y bien decorados. Lo mejor es poder disfrutar de tu propia piscina. Las respuestas de Raúl el propietario y de Jorge el administrador son inmediatas. Todo funcionó a la perfección. Aíres acondicionados, estufa , refrigerador etc Sin duda quiero regresar.

El apartamento de Kathy es tal cual las fotos. Todo limpio, todo en orden. La cocina bien equipada. Super cerca de la playa. Si bien es cierto que el condominio necesita mejor mantenimiento, el apartamento de Kathy lo compensa por mucho. Me hospedaría nuevamente en este apartamento.

We had a lovely, peaceful stay in Philip's apartment. It is ample and comfortable and had everything we needed. The balcony overlooks the pool area and you see and hear the ocean just beyond. We went for long walks on the beach and swims in the ocean. It is a beautiful stretch of beach there. We will definitely go back!

El lugar es igual e incluso mejor que en las fotos. Está todo muy limpio y tiene muchos detalles para sentirse como en casa. Todo funciona a la perfección La ubicación es muy cómoda, con salida directa a los juegos, restaurantes y lugares atractivos. Iría de nuevo con seguridad

Nuestra estadía en el apto de Rapha fue espectacular. El apartamento es super cómodo para estar con familia, esta muy bien equipado y muy limpio. Tienen además detalles que te hacen sentir en casa, como silla para bebes, platos, vasos, etc. Nos encantó el sitio, el apartamento y la atención que recibimos por parte de Rapha! Sin duda volveremos y lo recomendamos al 100%.
