Waterfront holiday rentals in Pêra

We had a wonderful vacation in Carvoeiro and the apartment. The location was just right for us and the apartment fulfilled all our wishes. We'll be back for sure. The apartment was exactly as pictured—modern, clean, and comfortable with beautiful views. The location was walkable, which made exploring the area easy and enjoyable. We appreciated the responsiveness of the host and the thoughtful welcome gift—it was a lovely touch! The recommendations provided were appreciated. That said, there were a couple of things that could be improved. Directions to the apartment were a bit tricky to follow, and the 6 PM check-in time felt quite late compared to my experiences over 8 years of staying in Airbnbs around the world. We were surprised to find that some necessities weren’t provided. For a 3-night stay with 4 guests, only 4 coffee pods and a few mismatched tea bags were available, which seemed more like leftovers than intentional provisions. There were also no paper towels or basic cooking staples (beyond salt and pepper). Overall, we had a pleasant stay, but a few small improvements could make the experience even better.

This is our 3rd time staying in this apartment . We love it ! Great host , great communication, great location . Just another perfect stay and we e already booked again for next year . Thank you xx

Very straight forward and had the best time, would stay here again 100%, but do check with Hugo if the pool is available - it wasn’t for us.

The hosts were very friendly and helpful. The apartment has everything you need and is very close to bars and the beach.

We spent over 14 days in the preseason a great holiday for two in the central, directly on the sea/beach apartment of Nora, in fantastic weather sunny every day between 25 - 28 degrees. The hostess Nora welcomed us very kindly and was always easily accessible. The apartment is simply perfect, centrally located in the village and is fully equipped for up to 6 people with 2 bathrooms in an upscale ambience. It also has its own underground parking space, which is a bit adventurous to reach. We can really recommend the apartment as a hotspot and will be happy to come back. Simply top .... full score.

Lovely decorated apartment in a residential area, close to the marina and old town, completely walkable, the old town is lovely and everyone is friendly, local restaurants are great. A good balance of location and views! It’s 2 minutes walk to old town and maybe 5 minutes to the marina.

Unique, cozy little house with the beach right outside, perfect for a one of a kind vacation. Sagres is the chillest place, surf town with incredible natural beauty and all the essentials. Hosts are lovely. We had a great time.

The location of the house is amazing: a few meters from the beach, in a soothing setting. Ideal base for the most beautiful walks in the area along the coast. The house is tastefully decorated and quality materials. It is perfectly equipped with everything you might need for a dream stay (impeccable house base, equipped kitchen, bbq, beach towels, etc.) . Stephanie has thought of everything! This home is a perfect beachfront home, but also turns into a soft and warm cocoon thanks to the wood burning stove when the weather is less mild. Stephanie is a perfect host, attentive and always available. Thanks again for everything! Last point: you will find in front of the house 2 delicious restaurants offering amazing grilled fish! It was a dream stay! We leave this house with memories in our heads and we hope to come back soon!

Had an amazing time here and underestimated how good the location is. Easy to jump in and out of the fun of Albufeira and an easy walk to public parking. Marina was super responsive and communicated well. Wish we could stay longer!

Teresa is amazing - the place is terrific. Really well located yet quiet. I’m a quite tall so I am not always suitable for Portuguese homes, but the home is perfect in every way. Very quaint very clean and very comfortable.

Our stay at Casa Bombarda was the highlight of our trip—both the unit and Lagos completely exceeded our expectations. The home is absolutely beautiful, with three stunning outdoor spaces, including a rooftop patio where we enjoyed ocean views and unforgettable sunsets. Luis was a fantastic host—great with communication, full of helpful recommendations, and always quick to respond to any questions or needs we had. The unit is fully equipped with everything you need for cooking and cleaning, which made our stay incredibly comfortable and convenient. The location is ideal: a short walk to the heart of old town and close to amazing restaurants, shops, and beaches. Casa Bombarda went well above and beyond what we hoped for. We’ll always remember our time here and will be recommending it to everyone we know!

Elsa’s place made our honeymoon absolutely perfect. Spotless and exactly like the photos. A perfect base for exploring Faro and surrounding areas, lovely restaurants on your doorstep. Felt safe walking around the area, even late at night. Noise not an issue, just the construction that is mentioned in the ad but that didn’t bother us! The pool is perfect for cooling off on hot days! Sad to leave, thank you for an amazing holiday!

Location, location, location! This place is walking distance from beautiful beaches, and cafes. The larger grocery in 3 minutes drive. Perfect distance to other attractions. The kitchen is well equipped and we cooked on the rooftop many times with the grill. We enjoyed calm morning on the rooftop.

I can’t praise/recommend this property and Susana as our host enough, we were a group of 4 female friends travelling for a long weekend break away, from fantastic communication to flexible check in times, spotlessly clean apartment and complex, great accessories provided including pool towels and umbrella, everything is as described, the pictures do not do it justice, the apartment is much bigger than you expect with 2 balconies each side catching sunrise and sunset. We walked downhill to the marina and local supermarket/bar & restaurant and easily ordered Ubers back up to the complex, only costing a couple of Euros. An Uber into Old Town is just as easy to order costing approx 7€. The complex is very secure with gated/key access, it is quiet and respectful with a security guard walking round day and evening. We have had a fantastic trip and wouldn’t hesitate to book with Susana again, thank you so much.

Great friendly hosts who really made sure that we felt at home. Location is perfect - right by the beach. Easy drive to nearby grocery store and town centre. Home was very spacious and had a beautiful window. Enjoyed the stay.

Delighted: location & pool and view from the balcony (very private). Bolt from train / town €3-5. Apartment is basic, outdoor furniture looks new. Marcos & Elaine take pride & care of the apartment . Elaine baked Pastel de Nata, truly the best I’ve had to date in Portugal. The only frustration, advertising a coffee maker, and not say it requires “special sized coffee pods” or where to get them. I specifically asked at check in about the pods, Marcos agreed they were there, neither one of us looked in the box. An hour later, noticed only a few pods & I messaged Marco showing him a photo & he said that was all they provide for the Welcome Gift, no advice of “how or where” to get more pods. This is very disappointing, advertisement with photo of a proper coffee maker for the duration of paid stay yet guest can’t use the coffee maker the entire stay. Also saying that there is “Instant” coffee provided is not acceptable. Restaurant downstairs has real coffee, felt like being at a hotel.

We loved staying at Marlene's place! The location can't be beat. The views were amazing and we enjoyed the easy access to the beach and the walking trails along the cliffs. We found the walk to town totally doable (10-15mins) with also a few restaurants even closer (Mar, Luca's rooftop, etc.). The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was fully stocked. We would definitely stay here again.

We absolutely loved our stay at Ana’s place. The location is perfect! Beautiful beaches, excellent restaurants, shopping, and grocery stores are all just minutes away by foot. It’s also centrally located within the Algarve region, so if you have a rental car, you can plan on all kinds of amazing things to do and places to see. Her place also has some extras that made our stay perfect…a water cooler for refilling water bottles, a washing machine and a separate dryer, a soft-sided cooler with ice packs, beach towels, and a view of the ocean! Ana is an excellent host! She answered any and all questions quickly. We can’t wait to go back in the future!

Rosa’s place was great and exactly as described. Very short distance to beach and town (~15 min). She had recommendations which we appreciated. Check-in was easy. The place was as described and Rosa was super communicative. We encountered some issues after checkin and Rosa handled them immediately, which was so appreciated!! The place was super clean and comfortable. Would definitely stay again. Thanks for an amazing stay, Rosa!

The place was gorgeous, right next to the beach. The balcony was our favorite part about the apartment, we enjoyed every single evening there. Thank you for a little welcome package! Would definitely come back anytime in Albufeira.
