Séjour très agréable dans ce petit cottage très bien aménagé, avec tout, y compris des denrées alimentaires ! Hôtes très discrets mais très attentifs au bien être. Cadre paisible et serein que nous serons heureux de retrouver lors d’un prochain séjour !

This is the second time we have stayed at Loustalet. Need I say more? Extremely comfortable home, everything we needed for a family holiday. Nightingales sang in the woods, buzzards and kites soared above us and we were visited by hares and deer in the garden. The house is well situated for what we needed in Castillion la Bataille and close enough to enjoy Saint Emilion and Libourne. Our host was extremely attentive and helpful yet respected our privacy and we are surely to return again.

Ce séjour fut incroyablement reposant dans un environnement calme, au cœur de la nature et au charme fou . Béatrice et Christophe sont des hôtes extrêmement gentils , accueillants et dynamiques , qui ont le sens du partage . Nous avons pu profiter de tous leurs conseils sur la région , les restaurants , le domaine viticole . Le logement est parfait , il correspond en tous points à la description . N’hésitez pas si vous recherchez un havre de paix à 10 min de St Emilion . À recommander +++

Un grand merci à Cathy pour sa réactivité avec notre demande de réservation au dernier moment. Nous avons été très bien accueilli, avec des instructions claires et toutes les informations sur les activités à faire dans la région qui est magnifique. Notre séjour a été super, le logement est très joli et fonctionnel avec tout ce dont on pourrait avoir besoin. Nous avions même ce qu'il faut pour le petit déjeuner à disposition. Le jacuzzi est un vrai plus avec une superbe vue. Une adresse à retenir !

A charming cottage very close to st emilion town and very close to the station. Sophie was very kind to pick us up and really helpful with suggestions on good restaurants and places to visit. She was very responsive to every request. We really enjoyed our time there. Thanks for being a great host Sophie. I highly recommend this place.

The village of Gensac is tucked away in the lovely Saint-Émilion countryside. The one-time convent feels like a special place, a quiet and peaceful retreat to return to after our days visiting Bordeaux, Saint-Émilion, Bergerac, and environs. The suite is spacious, very clean, has useful amenities, and we settled in easily. A vase of fresh flowers on the dining table and a bottle of local wine were nice touches that we especially appreciated. John was a helpful, informative, and friendly host. We enjoyed meeting him and will remember our stay there fondly. Thank you, John.

Logement extrêmement calme, au beau milieu de la nature, piscine facilement accessible Super environnement, une vraie déconnexion du quotidien grâce à une reconnexion à la nature !! Nous y reviendrons les yeux fermés.

Geweldig modern huis van alle gemakken voorzien. Het leek vantevoren lastig te vinden, maar viel achteraf reuze mee. Zwembad niet gebruikt (te koud). De host had heerlijk ontbijt en avondeten bereid (tegen betaling). De paarden in de wei om het huis als ook de rust en het uitzicht de vallei in geweldig. Voor de hond alles omheind. Lekker buitenzitten onder het afdak met een dekentje met welkomst drankje en hapje :D We hebben plannen om in november ipv 2 nachten, een week te gaan...

Great recommendations for Chateau's, Restaurants and things to do. We had 8 nights and could have easily had 8 more and still not seen a fraction of what the area has to offer. Very private and quiet location. I would give Caroline's beautiful Gite 6 stars if able

This beautiful Gite was perfect for us. We loved the peaceful location, the well kept grounds and the beautiful pool area which we only sometimes shared with the 2 occupants of the smaller gite. Often, we had it to ourselves. Chris and Debbie were really lovely and helpful with lots of recommendations- from markets to local restaurants. They set up a private chat group when we arrived so they could be on call if required and pass on any useful information. Debbie arrived at our door one day as we headed out for a trip with a cool box, which was a lovely gesture . On another day, she arrived at the pool with a jug of chilled sangria. Their lovely friendliness contributed to our enjoyment of this property. As someone who is often a gourmet buffet for local insect life, the mosquito nets over the beds were very welcome. Our girls loved the grounds, including the swing next to the gite, although the pool made it for them. We would happily recommend it to everyone we know.

We were met by his beautiful dogs on arrival making us feeling immediately welcome, followed by Gideon who welcomed us like we were part of the family. Gideon and his wife couldn’t have done enough, always being around for a chat, or just for a quick wave and smile. This truly is the most peaceful and beautiful setting to escape the reality of city life. The house its self was beautiful with vaulted ceilings and exposed original brick, they have got the perfect balance of rustics and contemporary. We couldn’t fault a thing and whoever gets to stay here next, is sure to love it just as much as we did!

Patricia est une hôte très accueillante qui nous a fait découvrir avec passion son jardin et ses animaux. Elle partage son savoir faire au travers d'ateliers très instructifs (plantes, ânes, etc.) La tiny house est très chouette quand on souhaite se ressourcer en famille dans un eco-logis proche de la nature. La piscine à disposition est un vrai plus pour se rafraîchir et passer de bons moments avec les enfants. La cuisine d'été permet également de cuisiner en dehors du logement et d'agrandir ainsi l'espace de convivialité. Nous recommandons vivement ce logement !!

Sehr schöne Unterkunft in einem wunderbaren ruhigen großen Park. Die Rosen duften und die Terrasse bietet viel Platz zum entspannen. Die Vögel hört man abends sowie die Frösche am Teich… es waren tolle drei Tage, ein perfekter Abschluss nach der Stadt.

Belle maison,propre et agréable.A 9kms de Sarlat. Très bien situé pour faire les visites des meilleurs sites et villages.Un très grand jardin fermé pour nos amis à 4 pattes ou sécurité pour nos enfants sans oublier la petite balançoire.Sans oublié l accueil très gentil et la délicate attention pour notre arrivée. Et très important une bonne literie. N' hesitez pas.

Château très agréable , très belle propriété. Et beau jardin avec des arbres magnifiques . Maria nous fait un tour des caves et dégustation de vin, ce qui était très intéressant . Nous avons beaucoup apprécié la gentillesse de maria et de sa maman qui étaient toujours soucieuses que notre séjour soit parfait

This is one of the most wonderful places we have ever stayed. The mill tower is a pleasure to be in. There are a few similar old mills dotted around the countryside, some derelict, and I’m really pleased this has been sensitively restored. We were looking for a quiet, warm place for a ‘baby moon’; this was ideal. Hire bikes and explore the area, the paths around are lovely. We enjoyed taking things slower here. You will probably need a car here, there didn’t seem to be public transport. But, you’re very close to Bergerac - we flew here direct and got an easy car. Wish I was still sitting outside the mills as I write this. Great wine and food all nearby.

We hebben een heerlijke ontspannen tijd gehad. Een heerlijk huis en geweldig zwembad. Lekker rustig, schoon en van alle gemakken voorzien. Patrick heeft ons geweldig geholpen toen we pech hadden met de auto. Echt mensen waar je op kunt bouwen. We komen heel graag terug.

Een mooi charmant huis en met smaak gerenoveerd. Echt gezellig ingericht en voorzien van alle comfort. Het huis is gelegen in een rustige omgeving met een prachtig uitzicht. Leuk met de verschillende zit en ligplekken in de tuin en het zwembad is zeker een meerwaarde. We werden warm verwelkomd door Natasja en ze gaf ons goeie tips om de regio te verkennen. Kortom een echte aanrader, weg van de drukte en een plek om echt te relaxen!

Petite parenthèse hors du temps dans ce magnifique cadre bucolique. Nous étions de passage pour une nuit et avons passé un merveilleux moment auprès de Marie-Laure et Lionel, deux hôtes très chaleureux et amoureux de la nature et des animaux. Chalet très propre, literie très confortable et cuisine bien achalandée. Le jardin est absolument magnifique et entretenu avec beaucoup de goût. Poneys, poules, et chèvres ont apprécié les pissenlits et quelques caresses. Je recommande vivement ! Belle continuation à ce couple très charmant !

Weekend prolongé très agréable chez Christine! Logement cosy! Beaucoup de choses à voir dans les environs mais pas assez de temps, nous reviendrons donc !
