An amazing creatively restored 80 sq m open room in a medieval barn, above the owners inspirational sculpture / textile sudios. Solid oak floors, original timbers with a private shower room downstairs. Lovely cosy cottage for one or two set on our little French farm in the beautiful and peaceful North Dordogne countryside. The cottage is nestled in 30 acres of fields and woodland where you can watch our many animals pottering around enjoying their sunny French retirement! We are halfway between the pretty villages of Mialet and Saint-Jory-de-Chalais which are well serviced with shops, bars, restaurants and boulangeries. Both villages are less than 5 minutes by car or 30 minutes on foot.

You will enjoy its large terrace and stunning views of the pond on sunny days, as well as its interior with its soft and cozy atmosphere, and its wood-burning stove for your long evenings.

Cabin, Chalet in the forest

You'll love the cabin for the views, the calm and the location in the forest. Perfect for couples. We do not accept children under 12 years old, for safety reasons. The cabin is equipped, kitchenette with gas, oven, fridge etc. (oil, vinegar, sugar, salt, pepper, coffee, tea, herbal tea provided) Bed linens and towels are provided. Bathroom, dry toilet NO SMOKING OUTSIDE AND INSIDE AND NO CANDLES. We provide battery-operated candles for you to use.

THE OLD BREAD OVEN

Alone, as a couple or even with 2 children, we will be happy to host you in this small cottage which was a former bread oven on the edge of the Dordogne towpath. It is in the style of our Purple Perigord with its bricous and old stones. In a quiet and peaceful secluded location, you will still be close enough to visit the famous bastides and castles of Dordogne but also Lot-et-Garonne and Gironde and halfway to SARLAT and Saint-Émilion.

The Cabane des Bois

A nature break in this small cottage nestled on the edge of the woods where comfort, serenity and well-being blend. A moment of unique relaxation for 2 to meet, no TV but board games, no Wi-Fi but 4G, no city noises but those of nature and its wildlife.
