Welcome to my sweet yet small apartment with big views overlooking Lake Como and Varenna. A fabulous place to unwind and explore traditional Italian villages and wonderful footpaths. High up (great for walkers) it's close to towns like Varenna. It’s in a sleepy village, perfect for guests who want to relax and get away from the crowds. It's a STEEP 25 minute walk from Varenna and the train station so good to have a strong pair of legs!

Four of us stayed here for only a couple days and were incredibly impressed by the spectacular view of the lake and the surroundings. It looked like out of a travel magazine. The unit itself was quite nice with total upgrades everywhere which were in top condition. If you are driving yourself up the hill to the home be prepared for some fun driving adventures on twisting turning curves that are somewhat narrow. We always had a driver. We could see that it takes some experience to get good at it.

This is a really fantastic find for those visiting Varenna and Lake Como. Up on the hill the flat has lovely views of the lake. We walked down the footpath to the town each morning which takes about 20 mins, then coming back up there is a bus or taxis. There is a night bus service which takes you from Bar Milano (right next to the flat) to Varenna station and back for free any time after 7pm, which was amazing - such a helpful service! Flat is really nicely presented and in a peaceful location. There is a supermarket just round the corner too which was great. We would absolutely recommend!

Alina was a great host! She was very responsive and provided a very detailed and helpful guide to Lake Como. We did the hike she recommended down to Perledo square and it was a lovely 20 minute walk/hike. She also provided a list of taxis which evidently are difficult to get in Lake Como! We used Ivan whom Alina recommended and he was always responsive and available for most of our requests. As for the apartment itself, it was INCREDIBLE!!! The views are so breathtaking!! The apartment is modern and very clean. It is also so peaceful and relaxing sitting on the patio. Thank you, Alina, for an unforgettable experience!

If you would like to wake up and go to sleep with a view to die for, look no further... The apartment itself is a little away from the lake front, restaurants and public transport however for some that maybe a positive thing. The apartments location seems to be surrounded by more locals and is very peaceful throughout the day, especially at night. The apartment is very clean and has a kitchen with everything you'll need. A washing machine, ironing board etc. is also there if needed. The view is so much better in person and having breakfast on the balcony would never get old. Overall I would recommend it. Thank you for having us.

Very clean and peaceful stay at Perledo. Nicola and Sonia's team were very helpful in getting us to the apartment after we failed to find a taxi: the apartment is on a hill so you definitely need transport to get there so I would recommend everyone coming to Perledo to reserve in advance and follow directions from Nicola/Sonia. Many thanks to Laura as well who was a godsend in personally chauffeuring us to the apartment during check in and train station during checkout. Highly recommend!

The beautiful outlook and peaceful location over Lake Como was surreal. The apartment is close to Varenna, it’s great restaurants and ferry access. However, be prepared for a challenging 20 minute walk uphill in order to experience the apartment’s location - but you can cool off in the pool. A very neat, comfortable and relatively modern place to stay (remembering you are in Italy). As others have said the shower could be bigger, as could the bed, but they are relatively small things against what was a great stay.

Beautiful cozy cottage right on Lake Como! We loved our stay here. The kitchen was great and the host provided the first morning essentials (eggs, butter, coffee, yogurt, milk) which was a life saver. We really enjoyed the outdoor shower and the incredible Finnish sauna! We swam off the dock in the lake daily and hung out in the yard with so many beautiful ducks and swans! There are a couple good restaurants within walking distance, but do be aware you have to walk on a busy road to get to the closest town which is Lierna (10 minute walk). We did not have a car and it was not a problem with the ferry and the proximity to town. I highly recommend this place and would book it again in a heartbeat.
