We had a lovely stay at Roo’s Retreat. Beautiful space, surrounded by green. Miranda was lovely. And a bonus was that we could charge the car during our stay.

Lovely cottage in a really peaceful and quiet area. Lots of character, very clean and had everything we needed - all the food extras when we arrived were really appreciated! Went into the wrong drive initially but the owner helped to direct us to the correct one, so no issues!

I stayed one night with my wife and daughter, after travelling down from Sheffield and before leaving for France the next day. Initially, I was going to book two rooms at a Premier Inn in Ashford until I stumbled upon this hidden gem. It suited our needs perfectly and, what's more, the fee included a selection of breakfast items so we didnt have to worry about finding somewhere to eat before catching our ferry. The accommodation is tucked away in a quiet, peaceful village, the perfect place to relax after our long motorway journey. I would definitely have liked to have stayed here longer. Thank you to our host, Sally, for making our stay a most pleasant one.
